They are black, triangular, have lights, can fly and are completely unidentifiable. This is a UFO. Many people, since the 1940’s, have witnessed the phenomenon known as the “black triangles.” So, what are they? No one knows. These black triangles have been spotted all over the world, but are more commonly reported to be seen in the skies above the Unites States and England. They are enormous and they hover, slowly cruising over cities. They are silent, usually maintain very low altitudes and make no attempt at not being detected. Running lights, either colored or white, are usually located at the triangle’s corners.
Sometimes reports tell of a red pulsating light in the center, as well. There have been no explanations of what these are, as yet and thus their origins, existence and purpose remain a mystery.
It has been speculated that these black triangles are part of an ongoing experiment by the government on hovering technologies. But, because they appear over large cities and make no efforts to conceal their presence, this is highly unlikely. Most reports of black triangles are consistent in describing their size as about 200 feet long and the width of a typical football field. They tend to appear out of nowhere, hover in place about 100 feet above the ground and sometimes even land.
A famous reporting of the black triangle UFO sightings was the “Phoenix Lights.” In addition to other UFOs, there were numerous black triangles spotted and videotaped by the people of Phoenix, Arizona and the local media. This event that spanned multiple evenings began on Thursday, March 13, 1997. Lights were seen as low as 1000 feet in the air and were moving at speeds that were far too slow to be conventional aircraft.
They produced no sound and several of them grouped into a “V” formation which lingered above the city. A lot of witnesses reported a triangle that was over a mile wide and blocked out the stars as it passed over their homes. There were other reports of similar craft sighted in the skies above Las Vegas, Nevada and Los Angeles, California.
The air force officially reported the incident as a testing of flares that were launched out of conventional aircraft at the time. Witnesses did report seeing the military jets, but that they were chasing the mysterious objects and not launching flares. Over the course of the next few nights, local pilots attempted to recreate the event by flying propeller planes in “V” formation. The engine noise was easily heard.
Three years earlier near Moscow, Mach 12, 1990, there were several groupings of the UFOs in the night sky. There were some spheres and discs, as well as the triangular craft. Local people spent their nights watching from their rooftops as the silent objects darted through the sky. Several accounts of this incident were retained by the CIA, although none were released for the public.
So, what are these mysterious black triangles? Are they alien craft? Are they air force flares or the government testing of new technologies? You be the judge.
