From the Earth, to the Moon and beyond, people have been documenting and reporting strange sightings and unexplained phenomenon for centuries. It is only in the last half century or so that the UFO craze has really gripped us. From mysterious lights in the sky and crop circles, to the Loch Ness monster and Sasquatch, to the “Eye of God” the list of strange sightings is a long one. Let’s explore some of these.

Many have witnessed the lake monster from Loch Ness in the Scotland Highlands, though few were actually spry enough to get the elusive beast on film. And what film and picture evidence there is lacking to say the least. Descriptions of “Nessy” vary from person to person, and are hazy at best. This creature’s popularity has waxed and waned over the years since first brought into the public eye back in 1933. Cryptozoologists really have their work cut out for them with this one.

Sasquatch has a number of names; Big Foot, Abominable Snowman and Yeti are a few of the more notable. Sasquatch, or Big Foot, is a large ape-like creature that inhabits the Pacific Northwest region of the United States and Canada. A famous somewhat grainy film has placed the image of what Big Foot looks like into the minds of many people. Accounts and eye-witness reports, along with strange foot prints and other findings make this creature almost seem plausible. Its cousin the Abominable snowman, or Yeti, inhabits the Himalayan region of Tibet and Nepal. Lieutenant-Colonel Charles Howard-Bury tells of his experience with the Yeti in his book Mount Everest The Reconnaissance, 1921. He found tracks in the snow that he took to be those of a loping wolf, creating the elongated double-footprint. The Sherpa guide mentioned the “man-bear,” and the legend soon spread.

The “Eye of God” is gaining in popularity as the proof of the existence of God in the universe. The Helix Nebula bears a striking resemblance to the structure of an eye. Although scientists can explain its appearance, images of the Helix Nebula have struck a chord in the human imagination and have made people start to question their beliefs.

There have also been accounts of a secret Alien base on the Moon. Neil Armstrong and Edwin “Buzz” Aldrin were said to have witnessed it first-hand. In fact, the Apollo mission and any subsequent Missions to the Moon are believed to have been cancelled to do the Alien presence. Crop circles and crash reports, stories of abduction and visitation are perhaps the most famous and numerous of the strange sightings. From flying saucers, discs and cigar-shaped objects to pilots reporting close encounters with spacecraft, we get the sense that we are not alone in the universe. Jimmy Carter was known as the “UFO President due to his fascination with them and as a result of a sighting he and a few others witnessed.

Perhaps we will one day uncover the truth behind these strange sightings. Or perhaps it’s true that we would rather leave the mysteries alone so that we can happily imagine the possibilities.

Many are speculating whether the truth about UFO’s will finally be revealed?

We need answers to some questions like, where did our alien creators come from. How can UFOs appear and vanish within seconds? Interstellar flight may prove to be a difficulty for the human race. However, the alien civilizations, which are thousands or maybe millions of years ahead of us in their development, have most likely discovered appropriate means how to explore the universe. Therefore, we cannot assume that all species in the galaxy are at the current technological level as humanity.

There is a common belief that before the emergence of the next world the ancient gods will arrive to inform and warn about the coming destruction. The natives do not fear the imminent changes because although they know the ancient divination must be fulfilled, they have deep faith in their gods. In the same way the Christians believe in the second coming of Jesus Christ, who will come and rescue them in times of despair, people here believe the returning sky visitors will take the inhabitants to safety and protect them from all kind of problems or catastrophes.

According to many people, there are places on this planet, which are shrouded in magic, myth and mystery. These are sites where you can “feel” the presence of the alien gods and our ancient masters.

According to the Native Americans, legend there is a certain inter-dimensional doorway hidden deep within the Andes Mountains. Also, there is a doorway in Peru is located approximately 35 kilometers from the city of Puno. At first glance the Gate of the Gods looks like just an ordinary carved rock, but it is supposed to be much more than that……

Alien abductions, flying saucers and extraterrestrials. Are they just fantasy or realty? Either of the ways it is a realm that many people take seriously. Now there is a dedicated semi scientific area of research for these unidentified flying objects known as Ufology. Nevertheless, it is an exciting filed. The main research started only after the Second World War when there was a sudden spurt in the sightings of UFO’s. Since then, many scientists and astronomers believe that these so called sightings are just related to whether patterns and astronomical events like meteor events, hot air balloons or military planes. But there are many people in this world who believe that these sightings have got something to do with extra terrestrials.

Nowadays you will find many stories and legends related to UFO sightings and aliens. Besides the witnesses there are many fixed evidences about the UFO’s which were filmed or photographed.

It was this UFO theory that gave birth to many other theories like aliens landing from other planets and flying saucers as vehicles for falling angels etc.

The first major video footage of UFO’s was made in 1994 when during the war the allied pilots encountered what they call “enemy weapons” or “foo fighters”. One of the most notable and investigated incident of UFO sighting is the famous Roswell incident which happened in the year 1947. The people living in New Mexico City saw a disc like object flying in the sky. This was a usual UFO sighting however the army further mystified this by saying that an UFO has crashed in Roswell and debris and bodies or aliens were discovered, however almost immediately the army issued another contradictory statement claiming that they had made a mistake in identifying the object and it was a hot air balloon and not an UFO. Now who will believe that a well equipped and sophisticated army like this, will mistake a hot air balloon as an UFO. Many say that U.S army is hiding some really very important facts, other say that they are experiment something big, the truth however nobodies know.

In each of the case both sides, the skeptics and the believers have evidences supporting their own claims. Those who believe in aliens and UFO’s cite some facts that cannot be logically explained. And those who are skeptical offer their explanation with their supporting evidences. Now it is up to you to decide that which side is right and which is wrong.

Many people call it Roswell of the east. The incident took place on the clear night of 9th December 1965 and was witnessed by hundreds of people in Michigan, Ohio and Pennsylvania. People saw a UFO streak across the sky before it crashed in Kecksburg. This night was surely a night to remember for them, they saw brilliants flashing nights in the sky, something crashing, starting of fire, military and NASA’s presence and military trucks hovering something under cover away.

On that night people witnessed flashing and brilliant lights in the skies and thought that they were seeing a brilliant meteorite cross the sky, but later events pointed out that it was a UFO.

The unidentified flying object left a trail in the skies which lasted for more than half an hour and was filmed and photographed by many people. Debris of the flying object was also found which was thought to be of the object. However when these debris were analyzed it was found that these debris were pieces of aluminum foil which were expelled by the flying object to fool the radar.

Two children were first to witness the crashing of this flying object resulting in starting of fire. They rushed to their homes and told their parents about it, who then called fire department and state police. When the parents rushed to the crash site, to their surprise they found that the military personnel were already present there. When the police and fire fighter reached the spot they were told to leave without giving any explanation. The NASA’s top personnel were also seen on the crash site.

All the newspapers, TV news channels, police and radio stations in the Pittsburgh area had there phones lines jammed with calls about the strange object.

The object that crashed was sent to Wright Patterson AFB for inspection. Project Blue Book, the part of Air Force which deals with UFO dubbed this UFO incident as Project Moon Dust. The official report that came out after analysis described this UFO as a meteorite. However Ufologists refused to take the Air Force’s claims and insisted that this object was an UFO and not a meteorite.

Years later a famous Ufologist Stan Gordon who is an expert in this field investigated this incident and found out that several pilots flying at that time reacted to the flying object as if it produced shock waves, some of the firefighters who went close to the crashing site saw flashing blue lights coming out of the object and also burnt tree tops indicating that something huge and heavy passed through it, a person who was with the recovery team were given orders to shoot any person coming near to the site, the villagers were asked to stay in homes or otherwise face severe consequence. All these evidences pointed that something fishy is going on and government is hiding facts. Perhaps some day the clouds of secrecy will be removed, but until then lets wait and watch.
