One of the most profound mysteries involving the presence of either alien beings or humans, long before such a thing was supposed to exist, can be explored through the existence of the many artifacts discovered buried and embedded in rock strata far too old to explain. Ooparts, Out Of Place Artifacts in Relation to Time and Space, have been cropping up for centuries. They include everything from fossilized footprints to metallic objects made of non-naturally occurring alloys. Often these objects are discovered in rock formed millions of years ago when nothing even remotely human should have existed.

One such artifact that has recently gained popular notice is the "London Hammer" found in 1934 near London, Texas. Embedded in Cretaceous rock between 75 and 100 million years old is a wooden handled iron hammer. The metal was tested and found to be 96% iron with 2.6% chlorine and .74% sulfur with no carbon at all. The casting was so good that there were virtually no air bubbles in the iron, a feat that is nearly impossible even with today's technology. Although the wood of the handle has become somewhat coalified with inclusions of quartz and calcite it is still a very recognizable oval-shaped hammer handle.

Interestingly, it is also in Texas that fossilized human footprints were discovered in a layer of limestone that intersected and overlapped tracks made by a dinosaur. Such footprints have been found in other parts of North America as well. One such print, found in Antelope Springs, Utah, even had a trilobite embedded in the print which appears to be made by a shoe. This would make the print's origin over 200 million years old.

In a rare moment of semi-disclosure, the Smithsonian Magazine ran an article about anomalous footprints in their July 1992 issue. "Petrified Footprints: A Puzzling Parade of Permian Beasts" by the paleontologist Jerry MacDonald details some of his findings of fossilized tracks of birds and other beasts in stone far too old to carry such things as they had not yet emerged at that time. While acknowledging that these tracks were "problematic" in that it clearly conflicts with current evolutionary theories, the mention of the distinctive human footprints also in the rock were conveniently missing from the article's text.

Now the question must be brought forth, are humans a much older species that seems likely or possible? Were these tracks and artifacts even made and used by humans or was there someone else here long before the emergence of Cro-Magnon man onto the planet? Such objects do tend to give weight to the theory that we are somehow descended from entities that came to this planet long ago and eventually created us "in their image" as it were. According to the translated texts found in Sumarian archives, the Annunaki did come here long ago to explore and mine the planet. Did they leave behind these anomalous artifacts? Is it possible that science has everything wrong about the timeline of evolution? Or will we someday discover alien roots in our own existence as we search for the origins of these out of place objects?

Mayans and AliensMayans and aliens have been the fascination of many people for hundreds of years. The stepped stone pyramids littering Mesoamerica and the South Pacific have been suggested by some as being built by the mayans and aliens together for use as star ports. Others believe that the mayans and aliens worked through telepathy to erect the massive stone monuments.

How the temples were built is not entirely known, and many theorise about construction methods. If the Mayans and Aliens worked together to build the stone pyramids, what was their intended use? Were they for mayans and aliens to communicate on, or were they for glorious sacrifices to Quetzalcoatl; the mayan bird god?

Little of the history of the Mayan empire is known, as the conquistadors looted and destroyed the majority of the mayan artifacts that could tell us more. Some pottery remains, and there are strange figures painted onto these, and carved into gold Mayan jewellery. Perhaps these strange figures are clues to the relationship between Mayans and Aliens.

Did Aliens come to earth to offer Maya assistance in developing their telepathic powers? Did the aliens use humans as slaves to erect the massive stone pyramids in the jungle? From the information on Mayans and Aliens that can be found, it cannot be known with ease.

There are several artifacts that have been found that cannot be made with current technologies. The crystal skull, with a map contained within it was found deep inside the mayan empire. Lost cities of gold, their inhabitants eradicated by the entry of the conquistador, may contain further secrets as to the relationship between mayans and aliens.

As one flies over the land from Nazca to Cusco there are significant abrasions in the land that extend for hundreds of metres in either direction. These abrasions when seen from the air show patterns that may have been left by the mayans in order to signal to the aliens that they still had faith in them. The outline of a strange humanoid form can be seen next to a dry river delta, and this is a trace of the vast heritage that culminated in the mayan capital of Cusco.

How did the mayans carve such majestic sculptures into the landform with their primitive tools? The help of aliens and their flying craft would have made the task a far simpler one, with mapping and image rendering technology readily available.

As with the masons of Cusco, the secrets that may have been traded between the mayans and aliens cannot be known beyond hypothesis. All that remains of the great trading empire are ruined stone temples, carved with phenomenal artworks, and buried artifacts. No mayans exist to be interviewed, and the few remaining natives with mayan blood are but peasants, ignorant of much of the great history of their race, and its interactions with aliens and UFO's.

What can be known is that there are clues that may inform on the existence of aliens, and if the aliens can be found then they may be able to explain the relationship between mayans and aliens. Historians and enthusiasts have tried, but few have been able to prove their case definitively.
