Remote Control UFO
Quick… what’s more fun than an RC plane? That’s right… a remote control UFO! For RC hobbyists and UFO enthusiasts and even for those who happen to fit into both categories this is pure high-flying RC bliss. There are so many people who are really getting into the RC craze, and adding UFOs to the mix just makes them all the more better. But, there is not just one or two of these toys on the market, there are many variations on this theme.
The Micro RC flying saucer by Thin Geek is unique-looking to say the least. There are four propellers, some scalloped edges, and a few cut-outs. You can move it forward or reverse, to the left or right and even hover and rotate in one place or while moving up and down. The controller has an easier mode to help give a beginner a hand.
For the kids, the RC UFO is tiny at only about 8 grams and smaller than your child’s hand. It looks like a crossbreed between a helicopter and UFO, it has a 2-channel mini propeller and the dual counter-rotating blades give it stability so it’s easier for the younger ones to keep it flying. It can be used either indoors or out and has some flashing LED lights in red, green and blue. Since there are 3 different frequencies you are able to fly three at once.
The MicroFly is not that much bigger than a silver dollar and it is the world’s tiniest flying RC toy. This little UFO easily fits inside your hand and can do take-off vertically. It can also hover and it will fly for about 7 minutes on 10 minutes of charging. There's an LED light on the top and this one is just for indoor use. It requires 6 AA batteries and one awesome feature of this one is that you can swarm your UFOs as one controller will work on several at the same time.
The 4-channel UFO helicopter is no regular helicopter. There are 4 ringed propellers that come together to form an amazing hovering UFO. It can pitch forward or backward, from side to side, spin left and right, and works both outdoors and indoors. It has a 4-channel transmitter, blue and red flashing LEDs, and has a manual with some flying tips. This toy is recommended for kids and adults ages 14 and older.
Sold to businesses as a guerilla marketing tool, and with a whopping $5,000 price tag, the Summit X-Pro definitely isn’t for children. This is a special helium-filled blimp, it is over 8 feet in length and it can hover. There is a color camera attachment, it can display logos and it has a bomb-dropping system for marketing. Fly this around and you may just see it end up in a number of UFO sighting reports.
