The 21st Annual International UFO Congress was held in Arizona last week. Excited UFO aficionados from around the world descended on the Fort McDowell casino to share stories, view UFO documentaries, watch the skies over Scottsdale and meet new people with common interests.
Among the items on display at the casino were statues of alien creatures that some alien abductees claim to have met. Many of those sculptures bore an uncanny resemblance. The small icons featured lots of elongated skulls, large dark eyes and small bow mouths. Some of them resembled praying mantises. Others seemed to have an Egyptian motif.
Many believers who attended the 21st Annual International UFO Congress brought along various relics, artifacts and souvenirs. Others were drawn to a film starring actor Dean Haglund.
With UFO sightings pouring into various reporting centers like MUFON and UFO Global Reporting Center on a daily basis, UFOlogy is receiving more attention than ever by the mainstream media. In fact, the recent UFO congress was covered by everyone from the Huffington Post to the Daily Mail. CNN correspondent Bryce Zabel was even in attendance. He spoke about the possible consequences of disclosure by the authorities.

There were some well-respected members of the community present at the event. Some of these honored guests included author and alien abductee Whitney Strieber and his wife Anne. The couple spoke about Strieber's otherworldly experience and his struggle with acceptance.
Chilean Air Force General (Ret.) Ricardo Bermudez was another distinguished guest and speaker at the congress. He is currently the director of the Committee of Studies of Anomalous Aerial Phenomena (or CEFAA), the official UFO research organization of Chile.
Lee Speigel was also present. He was honored at the event for his contributions to the field of UFOlogy and presented with the prestigious 2012 UFO Congress Researcher of the Year award.
An often disturbing event in the alien/UFO community, animal abductions and mutilations are on the rise this year, and the areas that are now being deemed 'hotspots' for UFO activity appear to be having a rash of these occurances. Though this is a somewhat 'distasteful' subject to some in the community, nevertheless it brings about strong emotions in experiencers and non-experiencers alike. While it may be easy to dismiss a witness's account of a sighting, one cannot dismiss the physical evidence of these events; namely that animals across the globe are being somehow damaged in a way that defies current scientific explanation.
Fossil records indicate that there is a possibility of animal abductions happening in ancient times becauase of the migration of some species to areas unobtainable by these animals. Several species from millions of years ago crossed oceans that were impossible to cross, unless they were somehow 'air-lifted'. For example, how did marsupials get from North America to Australia? How did monkeys get from Africa to South America? Evolution often happens too fast for Darwin’s theory and gaps in the fossil record indicate that some kind of unnatural force and possible genetic engineering might have acted together with natural selection.
Though the current phenomena of strange animal deaths and mutilations can possibly trace its roots back hundreds of years, it first came to the attention of the public and the media in the early 1960's with a rash of these surgically precise cuttings done on livestock, mainly cattle. Testimony from veterinary pathologists, law enforcement officials and cattle inspectors clearly distinguished animal mutilations from deaths of domestic and wild animals by infectious disease, predation, and other natural causes.
There are several indicators concerning these strange deaths, whereas there will generally be unexplained damage to any remaining organs, no trace of blood, no sign of damage to the surrounding area, a lack of of teeth or claw marks, and no obvious 'scavenging' by any known predators. While some animals are found lying on the ground, others are found draped over fences and treetops, their injuries consistent with being 'dumped' from a great distance. Sometimes the ground under the animal appears depressed, as if the animal was dropped on the site from a height high enough to leave an impact crater under the animal.
The situation is serious and sometimes apparently even involves harm to human beings:
By the mid 1970s, mutilated cattle were reported in 15 states, from Montana and South Dakota in the north, to New Mexico and Texas in the south.
Democratic senator Floyd K. Haskell contacted the FBI asking for help in 1975 due to public concern regarding the issue. He claimed there had been 130 mutilations in Colorado alone.[4]
In 1998, documented photographic evidence of a 1994 mutilation surfaced that involved a [5] human being outside of Sao Paulo, Brazil. An autopsy report concluded that the procedure occurred while the victim was still alive, and the associated pain resulted in cardiac arrest.

The occurances have been so widespread, that in in the United States, this has been the subject of two separate federal investigations.
A current video with Phil Hoyle of the Animal Pathology Forensic Unit in the U.K. discusses the matter further. In this presentation, there is footage of one the factors of the possible evidence of visitor related activity, namely burn marks which appear near or around where the animals were harmed.
In the story below it is shown that these burn or scorch marks are not a new event nor is the event of possible harm to a human being during it:
Faxinal de Sao Bras, Brazil
Date: 1940
Time: afternoon
9-year-old Sebastiana Roncador had gone to the goat pen in order to milk the animals when she noticed a strange luminous object resembling a “circus tent” on a nearby field. Curious she approached it and watch astonished as some type of “ladder” emerged from the object. The ladder moved in a way that it seemed to be “alive.” Soon several 1-meter tall creatures exited the object. The beings had a dark complexion with large frog like eyes, large round faces, large heads, huge pointy ears, and short necks. They wore tight fitting silvery outfits. The creatures approached the witness who ran frightened towards the house screaming. Her father ran out armed with a stick, which he threw at the creatures. These retreated back into the object. The craft then took off causing a huge cloud of dust to rise up and emitted flames from its bottom apparently burning the ground. At the site a black scorched circle was found and today nothing grows there. One of the goats was found apparently with a puncture wound and bleeding. The blood apparently coagulated and the animal died. Around the same time a local woman disappeared without a trace. Nothing was ever heard from her.
More evidence of visitor related activity to the events occuring to the animals is a picture captured by Phil Hoyle of a possible UFO which appeared over the same area as the deaths and surgical cuttings were taking place.

Though once thought confined to cattle or other livestock, these cases are now being found more and more in domestic animals, that is, the family pet. In Salt Lake City in 2003, a rash of cat mutilations occured, again with the same surgical cutting; these cases are still open, no 'cat serial killer' was found, but coincidentially, there were numerous UFO sightings in that area and other parts of Utah that year. Or consider the stories of several experiencers, who, upon waking from their encounter, would find their dog or cat dead...with no apparent cause. Several experiencers were lucky enough to actually see the damage inflicted as is evidenced by a story which occured over 50 years ago:
Location. Near Denbigh Castle, Clwyd, Wales
Date: March 1964Time: 0130am
The witness, Mrs. W, was up late studying when she heard her terrier dog yelping. She knew it was on the back patio and looked through the kitchen window to see him cowering beside a bush in clear distress. Rushing out, Mrs. W saw that a beam light was coming from the sky and enveloping the dog. She could not see a source. Reacting instinctively the woman picked up her pet and immediately felt a burning sensation as she touched the beam. Without looking upwards she fled indoors with the animal and noticed that her arm was burnt and remained in pain for some time. the dog also suffered discomfort from what she took to be skin burns that persisted for a short time.
Currently in a northwestern Montana town, there have been a rash of unexplained deaths of dogs; several of the animals reportedly died suddenly in their fenced yards while the owners were right inside the home. According to witnesses testimony, at least nine dogs have mysteriously died and other strange animal deaths are occuring, an example being of a wolf found 'draped' in a tree. Clearly this is not the work of some 'serial' animal killer. Prior to these incidents, there was possible UFO activity in the western skies.
Many experiencers have discussed missing pets, pets dead for no apparent reason, strange 'marks' that appear almost surigically done, yet the anuimal has had no such surgery in that particular area. It appears that the evidence is strong that there is a very possible connection to UFO activity and these animal 'experiements', if that's what they indeed are. Yet why hurt an experiencer's or other's animals and in such numbers? We all know and understand the concept of using animals to further medical knowledge, but in this case, a very large number of animals appears to be necessary for this 'research'. Too many animals are dying under mysterious circumstances which begs the question of, if the visitors are indeed taking these animals, then, why, if they are so advanced, do they need so many? And why primarily the experriencer's animals? Or, as some might suggest, does it have to do more with the experiencer and the effect on them that in any interest in the actual pet.
Whatever the reason, as more and more animal deaths are reported worldwide, and more sightings coincide with these occurances, it may be prudent to not only watch the skies, but to watch your animals, also....
A most unusual UFO was reported in Carrickfergus in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. According to the witness, the UFO resembled Buzz Lightyear from the animated movie Toy Story.
The witness, known only as D. Flower, told the Belfast Telegraph that he saw a light out of the corner of his eye on the evening of February 24, 2012. The light was outside his bedroom window. The time was approximately 8:15 p.m.
Upon further examination, the witness saw that the object was moving slightly, and it was too bright to be a star. That's when his sister grabbed a camera and took a picture.
Here's the amazing thing. The UFO in the picture has a strange resemblance to Buzz Lightyear, the Toy Story character named after famous astronaut Buzz Aldrin.
It may take a little bit of imagination, but looking at the picture of the Northern Ireland UFO does conjure up images of the toy astronaut with one arm outstretched and the other arm trailing behind.
The witness does not believe the object can be explained by an airplane or a satellite.
Most UFOs that are caught on camera tend to fit into the typical unidentified flying object categories: glowing orbs, flying saucers, and cigar-shaped craft. That's what makes the UFO sighting of February 24 so unusual.
Of course, everyone knows that it wasn't Buzz Lightyear sailing through the dark night sky over Northern Ireland. So, what was it? Unfortunately, the identity of this celestial object remains a mystery.
As the New Year of 2012 was ushered in just seven weeks ago, not only did the 'doomsayers' and their respective 'prophecies' increase; for some unknown reason, UFO sightings skyrocketed to levels that have not been seen before in recorded time. Though there appears to have been a significant amount of UFOS spotted in the tail end of 2011, the enormous jump since just New Years Eve is astonishing; on that night alone, over 100 sightings were reported. In the first week of this year, sightings in the United States were reported in over 36 states by multiple witnesses. And the U.S. is not alone in these occurances; reports ranging from Sweden to Chile to the UK have been pouring into the various reporting agencies since the beginning of the year and it appears that they are continuing.
Even the mainstream media is paying attention; not only did the Huffington Post headline that 'Sightings Skyrocket is 2012' (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/01/10/2012-ufos-are-off-and-run_n_1194310.html) but even Fox News decided that these occurances were newsworthy enough to be on their broadcast:
Several sites such as MUFON and Ufostalker are available to view current sightings; sometimes according to these interactive maps, there are dozens per day. Naturally some can be identified, but more and more during the month of January and now the month of February, extraordinary sightings are taking place almost on a daily basis and many are not only verified, they are disturbing in their frequency and in their proximity to the witnesses.
Utah sighting January 2012
One of the notable sightings that was photographed, filmed, and witnessed by many in the month of January, includes the now famous Mexico car chase of UFOS spotted near Mexicali, Mexico on 01/29/2012. Sounding like something out of 'Close Encounters of the Third Kind', these UFOS were photographed and witnessed by many.
MEXICO POLICE CHASE UFO
'The object was described as a 'device' with white, blue and yellow lights. Security camera operators reported witnessing the object, as did members of the public who dialled the emergancy services to report what they had seen. Police officers did their best to track down the object but in the end were unable to keep up with it.
A UFO with white lights, blue and yellow flashes" -- The first report was received from the airport area, and [the object] was even seen by C-4 operators manning the safety cameras that appear to have recorded it.'
More notable sightings this year:
Italy, January 2012
Tijuana, Mexico January 2012
London, Thames Estuary, January 2012
Why the apparent increase? Is it simply because of better access to record such events? Are the amount of 'star gazers' increasing and therefore the sightings are being noticed more often? And, If that be the case, then does this indicate that these sightings are not an anomaly, but a consistant factor in our lives?
The 'why' of this possible increase has members of the alien/ufo community buzzing with talk about posible explanations, everything from these events being some sort of sign of the end of the world, to imminent alien invasion, and even extending to the possibility that these UFOS are here to 'save humanity'.
Whatever the case, these clear photographs, videos and eye witness testimony of these lights, crafts or whatever they may be, indicate that not only are we not alone, but that whatever these UFOS are, it appears that they want to be seen, and by more and more witnesses. As the year gets deeper int0 2012, it will be fascinating to see if some sort of answer will unfold to give us all a better idea of what these sightings might indicate. In the interim, if the numerous reports continue to flood into the various reporting agencies, and the amount of information continues to grow, perhaps we may find some answers to the ultimate question of who it might be who is sharing this vast universe with us.

Lenticular clouds (Altocumulus lenticularis) are unusual clouds that most commonly form above mountains or mountain ranges. Their unique lens shape is easily confused by observers as flying saucer-shaped UFOs. Although lenticular clouds are definitely clouds, not unidentified flying objects, there is another interesting UFO-related theory regarding this phenomenon.
Some UFO enthusiasts believe that the flattened disc shape common to lenticular clouds is the perfect camouflage or cover for a stationary UFO mothership. Watching these mysterious clouds makes it easy to imagine a large spaceship hovering within the safety of the clouds.
Lenticular clouds are a favorite sight among amateur photographers, and there are many spectacular photographs that show the splendor of these clouds, which can be quite beautiful. Their astonishing appearance has captured the attention of various media outlets over the years. The resemblance of these clouds to the shape of a flying saucer is often mentioned in even mainstream media reports.
One of the most recent instances of a lenticular cloud was even reported by the Daily Mail. In a dramatically titled article called “First contact... or the start of World War III? Amateur cameraman captures stunning glowing cloud in the skies over Russia,” the news outlet points out that many science fiction movies have used clouds as cover for their movie-magic spaceships to hide. It’s films like “Independence Day” and “Close Encounters of the Third Kind” that help perpetuate the theory that UFOs hide behind these clouds.
This recent lenticular cloud is particularly unusual. Bright sunlight streaming through the cloud makes it appear like it is glowing from some interior source. Please watch video of this amazing phenomenon below.
Nevada is no stranger to UFO and alien activity, but the UFO spotted flying over the Bellagio in Las Vegas, Nevada may be the first time an unidentified flying object graced the skies over that grand hotel. On February 18, 2012, multiple witnesses near the Bellagio saw the luminous disc as it moved slowly above the famous hotel. There have been no other reports of a UFO sighting at the Bellagio before or since.
One of the observers was able to record the flying saucer-shaped light as it traversed the dark night sky. The cameraman filmed the UFO for just a few brief seconds before it launched itself upwards and out of view. It was not possible for the witnesses to determine the size or speed of the object.
The UFO video shows the Fountains of Bellagio in the foreground. The fountains are a beautiful sight as streams of water erupt from the ground accompanied by music and lights. Could the UFO flying above the Bellagio have held observers who were enjoying the spectacular show of water, lights and music?
The streams of water that comprise the Fountains of Bellagio partially obscured the camera’s view of the UFO as it passed overhead. However, the video still shows the unidentified flying object clearly between the jets of water. The object seemed to be slightly convex, and it appeared to glow from within versus having exterior lights mounted on it.
The Bellagio itself has an astonishing 3,933 Guest Rooms and Suites. That means there are potentially a great number of witnesses who saw Saturday night’s UFO and did not come forward to report it. For now, this remains the only video footage documenting the events of that night.
Recent reports out of Oregon claimed that multiple metallic boxes appeared on Stonefield Beach without explanation on Sunday, February 5, 2012 following a series of UFO sightings. Citizen journalist Dave Masko was the first person to report on these metallic boxes on his website HULIQ. Masko quoted multiple witnesses over the course of several reports on the phenomena. These supporting characters ranged from the mysterious UFO watcher known only as Errol, to the plucky senior Doris, to the unnamed local Oregon Forest Service fish biologists and an equally unnamed retired psychology professor.
According to Masko, the metallic boxes that suddenly appeared on Stonefield Beach had several surprising characteristics. They were warm to the touch and emitted strange sounds that included wailing, keening, and even “miaowing.” In one report, Masko described the boxes as unable to be moved. In a later report, he claimed that people were loading them onto trucks and driving them away. The boxes were described as 5' X 5' square and 20 inches deep; they were reported to be partially buried in the sand along the beach.
Although several other alternative news media outlets have picked up the story of the strange metal boxes, only blogger Dave Masko claims any firsthand knowledge of the subject. In fact, he is even credited for the photographs that accompany the multiple articles he has written about the boxes. The photos show the smooth, sandy beach where these metal boxes allegedly appeared. There's just one problem, according to multiple people who have taken the time to comment on the phenomena, Stonefield Beach is rocky and bears no resemblance to the smooth seashore seen in several of the photos. People who claimed to be locals also commented that trips to the beach in question failed to turn up any trace of these boxes left by UFOs.
Skeptics and UFO enthusiasts alike have expressed concern about the validity of the reports that describe shrieking metallic boxes scattered along the Oregon coast. The lack of mainstream media news coverage about the phenomena coupled with the inconclusive photographs and constantly changing details are causing a healthy dose of disbelief. People are putting the boxes into three basic categories: hoax, radioactive flotsam from Japan's tsunami, or actual alien artifacts dropped on the beach during recently reported UFO activity in the area. At this point, it seems unlikely that the truth will ever be revealed.
Are experiencers and abductees becoming afraid to tell about their encounters?
Recently in the alien/ufo community, there have been complaints from experiencers who post only to have derision and ridicule heaped upon them when recounting their story. Many have chosen to leave one forum or another and simply not speak of their experiences, such is their fear and disgust with being 'third-degreed' when relating a story that is very often traumatic to remember and even more so to tell. Yet the common experiencer has a need to find others and to share with them what has occurred. Unlike children who are less likely to doubt their own perceptions, adult experiencers and abductees often question themselves and their behavior about such an encounter. Generally, they want only to be heard and acknowledged, which, for a long time, many forums provided; a kind of 'written fellowship' and a ear that was always ready to be lended.
However, currently , many of the popular forums are having experiencers and those who believe come less and less often, only to be replaced by what is known in the circles as the 'skeptics or 'debunkers''. In many instances, objective reasoning is postiive feedback but this is not the case for the 'newbies' who come online needing a sounding board. More and more these 'skeptics' are picking apart at the new person who hears of the particular forum and comes on there seeking advice. As the experiencers are there less often, these skeptics appear to be there more frequently, demanding that their voices be heard to the extent of drowning out others.
It appears that this is not unique to the alien/ufo community. Rather, this 'ridicule' and derisive behavior appears in many areas onlines, a horrific example being the recent dramatic event of a woman committing suicide and reaching out for help and being called 'a liar' and that she just 'wanted attention' as she very likely lay dying.
Despite photographs, videos, news broadcasts, these debunkers will attack even the most genuine evidence, most oftentimes not even bothering to read the link or watch the newscast, relying instead on other 'skeptics' to give them the ' low down'.
This compelling video was shot accidentially by a news broadcasting company; comments ranged from 'it's definately a fake' to 'end of the world' commentary; very few objective comments could be found.
UFO WASHINGTON IN THE NEWS -KNDU-25
What effect does all this have on the typical experiencer? Whether it be a sighting or a possible encounter, generally the first thing that someone who witnesses such an extraordinary event wants is to find out more informaton about it; it is natural curiousity to want to discover what one is seeing right in front of them. Many state that at this time, tho, that they would NOT report a sighting for fear of being labeled crazy or delusional which opens the question of how many incidents are actually occuring but are not being reported.
Recently the topic of "Is the Alien Abduction Phenomena Dying out? appeared on a popular forum. Comments ranged from 'these reports are bogus' to the concept that this phenomena was some sort of 'fad'; several of the members of the forum responded with the following:
'This type of response is why people do not continue to report abductions. Although I completely understand why you feel the way you do.'
And:
'I talk to a lot of abducts, maybe 60 at the present time that i meet From XXX members, now they won't talk on public forums or report these cases to deft ears. There is indeed a very serious problem ongoing and these victims are traumatized. I liken their trauma to someone whose family member sexually abuse them and when they tell no one believes them, it's outrageous and a very sad state of affairs. This is global in scope. It's less painful to remain silent for these victims.Funny how an alien UFO forum exist but the real victims can't be open on it due to fear OD attacks, now if they feel this way on XXXX how do you think they perceive the real world would take them.I don't think you need to ask why you don't hear about reports on abduction anymore.'
Another comment on riducule:
"I am feeling hopeless. This is far worse than any amount of physical damage they could have inflicted on me".
From a popular ufo website, an excerpt from author Eve Lorgen:
'The abductee who has been denied validation of their experience will have a tendency to not trust their own feelings, stay in denial and even act out in anger. Those who have turned anger inward will become depressed or even suicidal depending on the extent of trauma endured.'
Without the testimony, videos, pictures of the experiencers, which could range from an air force pilot to a mom on her farm, we will continue to have less and less evidence that this phenomena exists and whethor or not it may be increasing. A valuable resource will be lost, and if there ever is any type of disclosure, it will be done behind closed doors; and as with everything, all the closed doors ever do is hide the truth and cause more havoc when they are finally opened.
If we want these testimonies to continue, if we want to continue to gain knowledge of this phenomena, then all must be vigilant and allow the voices to be heard. The expereincer cannot do it alone, and if the current trend continues, they, as others have been, will be forced back 'into the closet' and lock the door forever.
The following is a guest post by Leonard Farra - author of the book "The Pleiades Legacy (The Old World)".
At the turn of the 20th century, an archaeological team from the University of Pennsylvania was excavating the sanctuary of Sumeria’s chief god Enlil, in the city of Nippur, and after removing accumulated piles of rubble they made a sensational discovery of a vast horde of ancient tablets.
Little did they realise the deeper significance of their find for, although many of the tablets recorded day to day matters, others told an incredible story about events which were claimed to have occurred in the past. The scribes said that, in the pre-deluge era, their people were visited by fifty beings, who they called the Annunaki , or Annanage - ‘The Shining Ones,’ and that they were first seen on the summit of a mountain above a place called Kharsag. The tablets do not say that they were human but as the Sumerians worshipped them as gods, and regarded them as a heavenly assembly, this, and other traditions which were linked with them, suggests that they were extra-terrestrials who landed on this mountain after arriving from outer space. Traditions relating to their leaders, under various names, spread to neighbouring countries, such as Babylon and Assyria, and over the years, throughout the Early World.
Hammurapi, who ruled Babylon somewhere between 1900 and 1704 b.c.e, was one of the greatest, and most well known, Babylonian rulers and, commencing from his dynasty onwards, the last month in his country’s calendar, later called Adar, was known as Arakh-Sibuti - the month of the ‘Seven Stars’, or Pleiades. When this month ended, the New Year began and, in the rituals of renewal which followed, the priests read the Creation text which said that, after the creation of man, the Annunaki built Babylon’s great temple the Esagali.
Throughout the Early World, people associated their god (or gods) with the Pleiades and these stars played a major role in many early religions. Apart from the Babylonian calendar, those of other early people were also regulated by the Pleiades and they were universally linked with periodical renewal. The Annunaki leaders were said to have taught primitive people agriculture and this seems to be the reason why the Pleiades were universally linked with the agricultural cycle and with the civilisers of man. They were also frequently connected with the Creation and some people believed that they came from these stars and that they will return there when they die. The Festival of the Dead, when departed souls were believed to return to Earth, was popular in many countries, such as amongst the Celts, in Mexico and Peru, and it was celebrated around the 1st November. The Celts called it Samain and it began with the rising of the Pleiades when the gates of the Otherworld were open and when new fires were lit. This festival was later adopted by the Church .It became observed around the Christian World as All Hallows and its now popularly celebrated as Halloween.
The early teachers decided that truth about the visit of the ‘sky-gods’ was too deep for the general public to understand and so they explained it in the form of allegorical stories, geometric designs, and animal symbolism the deeper meaning of which was only taught to initiates. Over the years, the original meaning of some of the animal symbolism was forgotten and the animals sometimes became objects of worship in themselves. This happened in Ancient Egypt where animal symbols, such as the bull, were used to represent astral and other religious traditions.
The serpent, a creature linked with the Annunaki, was associated with gods, and goddesses, throughout the world and serpent worship continued into fairly recent times. In some European countries this custom was suppressed by the Church which proclaimed that various local saints had banned this creature from their lands. The Ancients also used geometric symbolism in their star-god religion, and a form of concentric circle symbolism, which the Sumerians associated with one of the Annunaki leaders, was carved on the rocks in many parts of the world including amongst the hundreds of fascinating designs in the Nazca Desert in Peru.
Various forms of sacred architecture were used in the Middle Eastern sky-god religion. This includes the structure of the Great Pyramid, in Egypt, which was built using sacred geometry. This famous pyramid was constructed by a local workforce, and not by extra-terrestrials, as some suggest, and, when it was built, 4,500 years ago, it was an integral part of the Egyptian religion.
Some of the earlier peoples added many more gods to their pantheons and by the time of the Greeks and Romans, there were gods, or goddesses, covering most aspects of life. Some parts of the Middle Eastern sky-god religion, though, were adopted by Greece and Rome and they passed, through time to the Middle Ages where they influenced various legends. The Mystic religions were also influenced by early Middle Eastern sky-god traditions and their inner secrets were taught to initiates who underwent a long period of training.
Astronomers, and scholars, agree that there may be life elsewhere in the Universe and that proof of this would be the greatest event in the history of man. So far as the Ancients are concerned, they all had traditions of the early visit to Earth, by extra-terrestrials, thousands of years ago, and many native peoples are still awaiting their return. Evidence of the star-god religion is all around us but most people have been so conditioned into accepting the established view of the early history of man that they cannot see it even though its staring them in the face.
It can be found in ancient religion and legends, mythology, the astronomical alignments of early religious structures, the mystic religions, numerology, early folk customs, star lore, early calendars etc. Even in today’s world, the titles of certain famous films, and books, and the names of many commercial products, have been influenced by early sky-god traditions which were passed on over the years
Leonard Farra has written a book on the subject which is available for purchase at Blurb.com.
Alien abduction and encounters with young children is a subject that has come up before in the alien/ufo community, but appears to be growing in number from the personal accounts posted on several forums and testimony given by multiple witnesses to the phenomena. It is a subject which tends to make some members uncomfortable, possibly because of the ramifications if this event is occurring. After all, It is one thing to be an adult and to possibly have these experiences, but a protective urge comes out in all of us when our children are threatened or being harmed in some way. Perhaps it is easier to put it down to a 'bad dream' then to deal with the consequences of a possible alien abduction of a child.
Aliens and children
While the phenomena is not new, the occurances appear to be increasing, as countless parents report that the dreams that their children are having are similar in nature to abduction and encounter accounts. More and more chlidren are speaking of beings who come into their room, their play area, to contact them; sometimes even taking them 'through the ceiling' or 'into a light'. The young ones recount instances of strong 'beams' and sounds coming through their windows, some actually describe the beings in detail and draw their own renditions of them. Imagination? Exposure to the media's concept of alien encounters? Yet too many of the accounts speak of children who have had little, if any exposure to ufos and alien life forms through the media or any other source. Their parents, who may have formerly brushed off these supposed 'fantasies' of their young children, are now turning to the alien/ufo community for answers as the mainstream medical and psychiatric disciplines fail to give them relief or a solution to the problem.
Studies have found that this phenomena is not only occurring but increasing; and as to the validity of the chidlren's stories, according to many researchers, the following can be said:
'Children seem to react differently to their alleged abduction experiences than adult claimants. Many alleged adult experiencers report doubting their own perceptions or the veracity of what they believed happened to them. Children, by contrast, never seem to doubt that their experiences happened to them. For an adult, an abduction experience can challenge much of what they believe about the world. Children however, by virtue of being in a formative stage of development, more readily assimilate the experience into their developing worldview.
Many repeat-abductees report that, as children from the ages of 2-6, they would be visited by balls of light that would enter their room at night. These balls would seem to play games with children and fly around the room. Some have interpreted them as being a way for the alleged abductees to develop their psychic abilities the way a physical ball helps develop coordination and athletic abilities. As such these intangible orbs have been dubbed "psychic toys."
Several drawings illustrate alien activities on children, including immersion in vats of liquid.'
A fascinating video from South Africa depicts interviews with 62 children who had an encounter with possible extra-terrestrials. After exhaustive investigation, it was determined that there was no mass hallucination; these children were telling the truth.
UFO 62 Children's Alien Encounter over South Africa
Many members of the medical profession have come forward and made statemebs about the abductions phenomema and a large consensus agrees that there is little, if any, psychosis involved in these sightings and encounters.
"UFO abductions are not a rare phenomenon and have been estimated to have occurred to three-million Americans. There is a remarkably precise correspondence to the reports. Abductees exhibit relatively little psychopathology."
From The UFO Abduction Phenomenon: What Does it Mean for the Transformation of Human Consciousness? by John E. Mack, M.D.
From Psychology Today:
'Psychological tests confirm that abductees are rarely psychotic or mentally ill. Some 3 million Americans believe they've encountered bright lights and incurred strange bodily marks indicative of a possible encounter with aliens, according to a recent poll.'
A recent case study in the MUFON files is disturbing for many reasons:
June 2010
'This particular morning, he came to me visibly upset,” the woman said, describing how her son came to her crying and “telling me he dreamed about aliens… I would never take him seriously normally but this morning and the way he acted made me listen.” Below is an excerpt from the unedited MUFON report:
He began to tell me that (in his dream) he woke up and a little gray men took him with them out the door and took him on their ship. The gray men had big black eyes and when I asked about the nose he pushed his up, and into his face, I’m thinking to make it look like there wasn’t much of one except for holes, maybe?
I asked him about their hands and he said their fingers looked long like sticks.
He said the ship was silver with yellow, green and white lights. He said it was a ball with a ring around it…He said they took him to the moon.
He told me they were talking in whispers and he remembered them telling him to “Stay…. stay with us.” He kept repeating that. He said he was scared and told them to take him home to Mommy.'
As studies have found that abduction is possibly multi-generational, is it conceivable that the possible abductees are more aware of the 'eymptoms' that may accompany these encounters? Or are these 'dreams' that these children are having so evident of alien interaction that it cannot be ignored? And, if the latter is the case, then does this lend credibility to the concept that these contacts with the children are increasing?
"Solutions" abound, from 'thought screen helmets' to the concept of these children being some sort of 'star chlidren', to subjecting the child to hypnotherapy to 'remember more', none of which the average parent of a child who has had an encounter is inclined to subsribe to.
Alien abduction
Unfortunately, in many cases, there is little rational support for either the parent or the child; experiencers are left to post on multiple forums and hope that they are not ridiculed and maybe find another like mind...at hit or miss proposition at best. Perhaps it is up to other experiencers of this phenomena to seek out others and help each other as best they can through an upsetting and often traumatic occurance.
