Anyone with an interest in UFO's is going to watch the skies and hope to spot an anomalous craft. Just seeing it may give personal gratification but having some type of evidence, be it photographs, video, or corroborating witnesses is necessary. This way you will not be so easily debunked or dismissed. Whether a casual sky watcher or a full time UFO hunter, the following 9 tips can help provide the best possible information to share with the world.

1] Always be vigilant and never fall into the habit of thinking there are only certain places a UFO may be seen. While a country setting may provide better visibility and less light pollution, more sitings do occur around populous areas. Nor do UFO's keep a time clock. You are as likely to see one in broad daylight as the middle of the night.

2] Stay Calm! Yes, spotting what could well be an unearthly craft in the sky can be both exciting and frightening. You must control your emotions well enough to provide adequate reporting on the sighting.

3] Once you do see a UFO, DO NOT LOOK AWAY! This is essential for giving the best observation of the craft for your report. UFO's are notorious for their rapid and often erratic movement and looking around for your camera could easily keep you from sighting it again. Use the buddy system if possible. Not only will a second person provide an alternate set of information, you can have it predetermined who will keep an eye on it and who will fetch the cameras.

4] Always keep some recording equipment handy whether it is a digital camera, cell phone with camera, or a video recording machine. Know where it is and how to get to it without loosing sight of the UFO. Remember that auto-focus is not your friend at long distances. Too many videos are nothing more than fuzzy spots of light as the camera's auto-focus bounces around trying to hold a moving object in place. Manual focus may be harder but even a couple of well-focused frames of your UFO are better than hours worth of fuzzy lights.

5] Always make sure to keep fresh, well-charged batteries in your recording equipment. If you are going to take the time to hunt UFO's be prepared for when you do find them.

6] Make sure you are clear of any obstacles to your field of view. Make sure the lens cap is not still on the camera. Don't let windows stay in your way. If in a car, roll it down. If in a building, raise the window. Glass can cause distortions as well as provide glare from other light sources which can then be used to debunk your legitimate sighting. If you are outside, get out from behind branches, leaves, power lines, or any other object that prevents the best possible shot at your mysterious target.

7] Try to provide as detailed and accurate a set of information as possible. This can be done either by using a tape recorder to chronicle your sighting or write the information down. Again, with the buddy system, one person can be designated as field reporter to write down the information provided by the observer.

Some of the most important pieces of information to include are not only what you saw but what you are feeling and experiencing emotionally as well. Keep up with the time so you can give it accurately in your report. Determine how long the sighting was. Describe the weather conditions as they may contribute to a better understanding of what you might have seen. Include wind, clouds, Moon, planets, ground lights, or whatever else you may see in the area.

As for the object itself, describe any sound it made if any. Describe the shape, coloration, light patterns, movement, and any other details you can make out. Use comparative metaphors to help your audience visualize what you saw. Try to determine size of the craft and the speed it was traveling. This can be a very hard part of the report as there may be few or no references nearby. One possibility is to determine how long it took to traverse a specific arc in the sky. If it is low-flying or comes near objects that may be used for reference, by all means describe how it appeared in relation to them.

Include the names of all the people who witnessed the sighting with you. If possible, have them write down their own observations. Make copies of the reports and any photographs or video taken. You do not want to hand over your only proof copy to someone just to have it "disappear" faster than the UFO did. Guard you originals well.

8] Don't assume all the information you can obtain is over once the UFO is out of sight. Observe the area afterward for any strange or unusual activity. Did very fast moving identifiable airplanes come chasing after it? Even in the days to follow, are there out of place people wandering around or seeming to be observing the area or yourself? This type of behavior has been observed after reporting a UFO sighting. Just because it sounds paranoid does not mean you should allow yourself to remain oblivious to anomalous attention.

9] Unless being the first one to report a UFO sighting is your most important consideration, take the time to do some follow-up research. Rather than calling 911 hysterically, check with the police or the airports and calmly ask if other people are reporting sightings. Investigate the UFO Sighting sites on the internet to see if others are talking about a sighting near where you were or one the same night that sounds like it may be the same craft elsewhere. Not only will this help clarify your understanding of the sighting but adding all the pertinent data together may either confirm a UFO or save you the embarrassment of reporting something that has already been explained as a mundane object misidentified.

Making it a habit to observe the world around you can have positive results in a much greater manner than just to get the good UFO shot. Learning to observe everything around you can help keep you more informed as well as more able to avoid even such mundane threats as a car swerving into your lane while driving or spot someone who may be stalking you with ill intent.

In our modern civilization, atomic power and atomic weapons of mass destruction have only existed for about 70 years. Physicists worked for years to develop the complex and tricky technology to create nuclear fission. But were they actually reinventing the wheel as it were? Archeology has presented us with several places on our planet where it seems both fission reactors and atomic bombs were used thousands of years ago. Did the self-confessed alien Annunaki, the "gods" of the Sumerian culture, utilize the same atomic power we have?

It is well documented in the cuneiform texts of the Sumerians that Africa was a primary location for the Annunaki's mining of the mineral wealth of the planet. While gold, said to be needed to repair the atmosphere of their home world Nibiru, was of primary importance still they mined for many other minerals and gems. In 1972 the French nuclear analyst Bougzigues detected depleted uranium in the ore shipments being received at the Pierrelatte Nuclear Fuel Processing Plant. This anomalous uranium was traced to the mines in Oklo, in the central African State of Gabon. French scientists concluded that the material was in all isotopic respects and ratios similar to the used nuclear fuel produced in modern fission reactors.

They found six zones of depleted uranium with its plutonium byproduct in thirteen distinct reactors along a 200 meter stretch of the mine bed. The official story emerged that this very difficult and complex reaction was a naturally occurring nuclear reactor that was being moderated by water alone. This "natural" reactor was so well contained that the heat generated only affected the stone around it for a distance of a mere 40 meters. Strange that this is the only place on the planet where such a thing occurred and didn't go critical and blow up all at once. Could this not be rather the dump where spent fuel was buried by an ancient nuclear powered civilization, much the same way, but more contained, as we do the spent reactor fuel that comes out of modern nuclear reactors?

The Annunaki's sphere of influence was not limited to Sumeria and the Mesopotamian region. As well as spreading into Egypt and down into Africa, they had culture centers as far East as the Indus River Valley. In Rajasthan, India, a mere ten miles from modern day Jodhpur is a three-square mile area of land so high in radiation that when investigating the abnormal numbers of cancers and birth-defects among the people they had to restrict the area. Under this irradiated ground, archeologists uncovered the cities of Harappa and Mohenjo-Daro. Uncovered at the site were the skeletons of bodies left lying in the street, some still holding hands, as though a swift doom had overtaken them. One body, as reported by the Russian Alexander Gorbovsky had a radiation level fifty times higher than normal.

Besides the bodies left to lay, possibly because there was no one left to bury them, were many "black stones", the melted remnants of clay pots and urns that had been subjected to swift and intense heat. Most of the buildings had been destroyed. Mixed into the soil on the cities' level is a layer of radioactive dust and ash. Carbon dating has placed the devastating event to between 8,000 ans 12,000 years ago. That the ruins look as though they experienced the same devastation as Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945 should not come as a surprise. An account of the nuclear destruction of the city was written about in the Mahabharata.

These ancient lines from Indian literature not only name the pilot (Gurkha) of the aircraft (the vimana) that dropped the bomb but also does a credible job of describing the mushroom cloud and the effects of radiation poisoning after the blast.

The Annunaki fought many wars among themselves for pride and position. Theirs was the only culture we have written evidence of their existence at this time who could have had the technology to fly in an atomic bomb to drop on their enemies. Even Oppenheimer, the builder of the bomb at the Manhattan Project was asked "How do you feel after having exploded the first atomic bomb on earth". Oppenheimer's reply for the question was, "not first atomic bomb, but first atomic bomb in modern times".

According to the ancient Sumerian cuneiform texts, their gods, overlords, and creators, the Annunaki, came down out of the sky to Earth from a different planet in our solar system. This home of their gods was not formed here with the rest of our planetary bodies but rather was captured by the Sun's gravity a very long time ago.

This planet, called by them, Nibiru, Planet of the Crossing, caused major upheaval in the entire system, altering and destabilizing the orbits of the existing planets and actually throwing two of them together in a cataclysmic collision which eventually stabilized into the duel planetary system of the Earth and the Moon.

Being an outsider, Nibiru does not follow the plane of the Elliptic but rather follows a widely cast orbit of approximately 3,600 years from the area of the inner planets out into the Oort cloud that surrounds our entire solar system. On board this far traveled and alien planet there lived a race of very long-lived, highly technologically advanced beings who had survived the long journey through interstellar space and were ready to explore the planets around the new star they would hereafter call their own.

Again, according to the tales they told, their exploration of planet Earth began as early as 450,000 years ago. Their purpose was the exploitation of the mineral wealth found here. Gold was needed to repair the atmosphere of their home-world and Earth had that in abundance. Originally, the mining was done by the aliens themselves, but the work was hard and arduous even for such a long-lived race and the workers rebelled against such a menial task. As a replacement, the alien scientists created a worker class of beings through genetically mixing their DNA with that of a primitive species, homo erectus, that had naturally developed on planet Earth. These new beings were homo sapiens, our first direct ancestors.

Through the ages of their reign the Annunaki continued to travel between the worlds when Nibiru passed back into the inner system. After building a vast civilization the mission to Earth was done and they determined to leave Earth and all return to their home planet.

Now the time is nearing when Nibiru should once more be moving into the inner part of the solar system on its long journey around the sun. The implications of just the gravitational effect such an occurrence could have on our world have the potential to be catastrophic for our civilization. If these ancient writings of the Sumerians are not a mere fiction, and the Sumerians were a practical and pragmatic people, then it would behoove us to know how near the rogue planet will come to our own and how great the gravitational stresses on our world we may expect.

There is a growing rumor that our modern scientists have rediscovered this approaching planetary body. With the dangerous implications it presents, a conspiracy of silence is said to be issued by the world's governments to prevent fear creating chaos among the masses of the people. The first positive identification of a planet-sized body moving towards us is said to have been found in the scans of NASA's Infrared Astronomical Satellite (IRAS) launched in 1983. After ten months of gazing into the depths of space, the official story is that IRAS quit functioning. Unofficially, the former US intelligence officer John Maynard has disclosed that in actuality the scans detected a very large, very hot (by infrared standards) object in the system and it was thereafter commandeered to track this object exclusively in order to help determine its path.

Now, at incredible expense, the South Pole Telescope (SPT) has been constructed in the heart of the frozen Antarctic continent. With clear air the SPT can view the skies nearly as well as the aging Hubble Space Telescope. There is also the rumor that the object first seen by IRAS is approaching from the southern skies and the SPT has been specifically positioned to keep track of this object in an attempt to plot just how close to Earth it will come in its passing. The SPT has been unofficially dubbed the new Planet X Tracker.

If this rumor is true, we can hope that Nibiru will pass closest on the far side of the sun where the gravitational influence may only cause an increase in tectonic shifts and an increase in volcanoes and earthquakes. If it passes very much nearer, these planetary stress symptoms have the potential to cause enough destruction that our very civilization may be in danger of extinction.

And another important reason for tracking this mysterious object as it approaches the inner solar system is this: When it made its last run through the inner planets, the Annunaki left Earth supposedly to give their human creations a chance to grow and develop on their own. With its return, the Sumerian texts say, they are planning on coming back to see how well we have done.

The citizens of New York City are used to seeing bizarre and unusual things. Last Wednesday, October 13th, 2010 at about 1:30 p.m. they got an eyeful of something that left them gawking in wonder. A number of bright silvery round objects were seen to seemingly drift over Manhattan Island. As quickly as possible, cell phones and video recorders came out to document the sight and it quickly spread to the Internet. UFO's were flying over the City!

Speculation ran high with various news agencies reporting possible natural reasons for the silver spheres in the sky. Balloons were the first suspected culprits, but where did they launch from? Initial guesses included the opening of a new mall although such an official balloon release would have to have been registered with the authorities. Finally an official conclusion was reached and reported.

A few hours after the initial sightings, Angela Freeman , the head of Mount Vernon's Milestone School spread the word that they were in fact, helium balloons that had escaped from the engagement party of one of their teachers. They said that a dozen of the four dozen purchased had been accidentally released as they were being brought into the building. All well and good - except for the glaring lack of consistency and thoroughness of the reporting.

The NYDaily News reported the balloons at a height of approximately 5,000 feet. With no clouds in the sky for even a rough comparison reference and nothing showing up on radar, their reported "fact" could only have been pulled out of the same thin air as the objects were floating in. From the photograph provided by the NYDaily News of a group of balloons that made it to the teacher's party they seem to be about a foot in diameter at their thickest. Would something that small still be visible to the unaided human eye at that distance?

The report on Live Science.com at least mentioned that the prevailing wind that day could have carried balloons in the direction the objects were seen to go, a fact glaringly missing from all the major networks' reports except FoxNews.com quoting meteorologist Brian Ciemnecki from The Weather Channel. Still, some witnesses said the objects hovered for as long as 45 minutes before moving off.

At least one photograph has been posted on the Internet from popfi.com which attempts to show a group of balloons floating up into the sky. Even a casual examination makes this picture suspect as the "balloons" are clearly not the same size. It also shows the group bunched together as though still tied tightly. The objects that went over Manhattan were all distinctly separate.

While many ufologists and believers feel the major news media generally ignores UFO reporting, it is probably just as well they do since they never tend to take it seriously and often still treat the subject with the contempt and ridicule made popular by the United States Air Force's Project Grudge in 1950.

The people are a disappointment as well. Surely in one of the most populated cities on our planet there would have been at least one set of binoculars or a small telescope that could have focused on the slow-moving objects to get a confirmation that they were actually balloons. Still, all we have are inconclusive cellphone video and pictures and conflicting accounts of what was seen. Since no one has recovered one of these wayward objects and proved the balloon explanation, they do remain unidentified flying objects in the true sense of the phrase, however unlikely they were of extraterrestrial origin.

But in ending this, compare video of similar looking objects over Mexico City on January 22nd, 1999. No one tried to blame it on balloons then.
