A close encounter of the second kind leaves physical evidence of some sort to help validate the event. One such encounter was well documented by a very reliable set of witnesses in the summer of 1986. The United States Navy's Salvage and Rescue Ship, USS Edenton ATS 1 was proceeding through the Atlantic Ocean approximately fifty miles off the coast of Cape Hatteras, North Carolina. It was a clear moonlit night with a moderate number of stars helping to brighten the sky.

At about 11:00 p.m. the top lookout, the crewman responsible for reporting all visual contacts on both the surface and in the sky, saw four red lights suddenly appear at about 20% above the horizon and about a mile in front of the vessel. He at first thought they were possibly helicopters, as the lights were stationary. On closer examination through binoculars he realized that the bright red lights were maybe a hundred yards apart and each was about the size of a small plane. He noted also that they were holding formation in a square. His closer examination failed to find any normal green or white running lights as would be visible were this an ordinary terrestrial aircraft.

Doing his duty, he called down to the bridge to report the sighting of a possible UFO off their bows. He heard laughter return across the communication wire but again relayed the information about the location of the objects and hoped they would also see what he reported. It was about then that the lights took a quick "swooshing dip" towards the ocean surface then shot straight up and off into space in the matter of seconds. The bridge crew had seen the object and duly noted the sighting in the ship's log.

About a half-hour later, as the ship steamed into the area where the lights had been hovering, the bridge's radiation detection system began to click rapidly. The device, a gamma radiation roentgen meter, registered the detection of 385 roentgens within one minute. It should be noted that the soldiers who were exposed to the Project Trinity atomic bomb tests in 1945 registered at most only 6 roentgens of gamma radiation from the mushroom clouds.

The Captain of the ship was awoken and brought to the bridge. He was quite upset at the UFO sighting report in the log and insisted that the meter be examined to see if it was broken. The Chief Petty Officer assured him the machine had been serviced only the day before and subsequent checking of the other radiation detectors throughout the ship showed that they had also detected the 385 roentgen blast. Whatever the lookout and bridge crew had seen, it had left behind a fearsome wake of radiation.

Only slightly less common than the ubiquitous saucer shapes are the unidentified flying objects that appear to be perfectly round spheres. In size the sphere objects have been observed to be as small as one meter in diameter up to huge flying balls that are estimated as well over one hundred meters across. In daylight they tend to look silvery, as though made of some polished steel or aluminum. These spheroid craft are often described as giant flying ball bearings. In the twilight or nighttime sky a glowing orange or reddish light seems to emanate from them. A few reports state seeing either a small row of "windows" or possibly a narrow rim around the equator of these spheres.

As with the saucer craft, the spheres are highly maneuverable and can go from a hover to supersonic speeds in an instant. Despite the extreme speeds they have been observed obtaining, the spheres generate neither sound nor create a sonic wake in their passing. Quite often these strange round objects are traveling at a very sedate speed as though they have nothing to fear and all the time in the world to get wherever they are going. During World War II, allied pilots often reported having what they called "foo fighters", small luminous spherical orbs about a meter across, keep pace with their aircraft as they flew over combat zones.

Small spheres have been seen to glide over fields where crop circles subsequently appear. They have been observed around sunset to come in from very high, occasionally leaving a short-lived corkscrew-like trail of ice vapor in their wake. Many of the anomalous sightings filmed by various space missions on the Space Shuttle flights and from the International Space Station appear to be these round sphere-shaped UFO's. They are often seen to be gliding along above heavy thunderstorm clouds.

Another strange quality exhibited by the spheres is their seeming ability to simply vanish. They have been observed to just slowly fade out of existence as though somehow either phasing through a dimensional shift or possibly reverting to an invisible state. If, as has been speculated, these craft employ a powerful electro-magnetic anti-gravity engine then the perfectly round shape is understandable. A sphere is the perfect shape for such a device to use. It is through this lack of understanding that the Philadelphia Experiment, as allegedly undertaken by our own Navy, went so horribly wrong.

Despite the thousands of reports of unidentified flying objects made yearly around the world, there are a few commonalties in the sightings. Regardless of shape, many UFO's give off their own luminescence. This is thought to be caused by ionization of the air surrounding the surface or possibly vents on the craft. It is believed to work similarly to what occurs inside a neon light tube. This is usually of an orangish or yellow color when seen at night. It also explains the hazy, wavering appearance of UFO's during daylight.

By far the most common shape of a UFO is the ubiquitous "saucer" or "disk" shape. Often the craft will appear to have a flat bottom or a slightly convex hollow. These are the one's described as "hubcaps". Occasionally there will be a more pronounced upper hemispherical shape. A type of dome or "transparent cockpit" shape is reported on the top of the round, spinning craft. These "classic" flying saucers are the usual model for cartoons containing "little green men".

Other saucers show a less detailed shape. Many reports come in about the lenticular saucers that appear to be two shallow bowls glued together at the rim. They are usually dark, greyish to black and, like the 2006 O'Hara Airport sighting in Chicago, USA, can be described "like an M&M candy".

The "straw hat" flying saucers are generally described as being like a coin with a rim. Rising above this edge is usually a secondary superstructure that gives them their distinctly hat-like appearance. They have occasionally been reported as looking like two hats glued together at the rim. The bottom and top of these craft are generally very noticeably flat.

Falling into this category is also the anomalous "mushroom" shaped UFO's like the alleged "Gulf Breeze, Florida saucer. The bell-shaped saucers also fit here along with the ones that have been described as "an upside down coffee cup in a saucer".

These are generally the most maneuverable of all the unknown flying objects. They seem to be able to defy not only gravity but motion, speed and inertial forces as well. While they are known to hover quite well, they also are known for such amazing maneuverability as to rip a conventional craft to bits. They are usually described as rotating or spinning along their horizontal axis when seen close enough to detect the motion. On can only assume it is merely the outer rim that spins while the central core containing possible pilot and crew remains stable.

It can only be a good thing that several governments around the world have begun to lighten up and release information they have on unexplainable aerial phenomena that has been reported to them over the years. With the recent release of many documents from England's Ministry of Defense we have the reports of another, never identified, sighting to add to the growing list of truly "Unidentified Flying Objects".

In the evening of April 21,1991 an Alitalia airliner had a very near miss with an object that passed dangerously close to it. The flight was being made by A McDonnell-Douglas MD80 passenger jet which was carrying fifty-seven souls on board. It was coming from Milan and was at 22,000 feet headed for Heathrow Airport. Suddenly the pilot, Achille Zaghetti, saw a brown missile-shaped object pass at speed over his aircraft at what he guessed was within a thousand feet. The sighting shocked him so badly he yelled, "Look out!" to his co-pilot who also saw the mysterious thing as it passed their plane.

Shaken by the near collision he radioed the Area Control Center (ACC) to determine if they had the object on radar. He was informed that they did indeed see "an unknown target ten nautical miles behind you". The ACC report of the incident included the sighting by a young teenager who had reported seeing what he thought was a missile at first flying low to the ground before zooming into the sky.

While the initial radar pictures had the object labeled as "Cruise missile??" the possibility that a military weapon had been involved was quickly investigated and proven to not be so. The Ministry of Defense trolled the records and schedules of the Army's firing ranges near Lydd and found no evidence that any missile firing or "space-related activity" had been underway that evening. Fortunately the object did not collide with the passenger jet and all aboard returned safely to the ground.

The same type of unidentified wingless object was subsequently spotted buzzing several other passenger craft as that summer continued. On June the 17th four passengers of a Dan Air Boing 737 also witnessed a fast moving wingless "projectile" pass below their craft as it climbed for altitude on takeoff from Gatwick airport. A month later, July 15, the pilot of a Britannia Airways 737 also reported a fast moving "small black lozenge-shaped object" pass by as he was approaching Gatwick Airport. To date, no one is any wiser as to who or what was playing such a dangerous game with these civilian aircraft.

While UFO debunkers often fall back on expunging the credibility of witnesses to disprove sightings of strange craft in the sky, one thing remains constant. Members of the military or the police are generally considered to be reliable witnesses that are trained to observe and accurately report what they have seen. It does not sit well with skeptics when law enforcement officers are the ones who witness and report such otherworldly events.

In the small hours of the morning of March 14, two Washtenaw County Sheriff's Department officers reported seeing a number of disc-shaped craft. These mysterious craft were witnessed not only by Deputies Bushroe and Foster but other law enforcement officers in neighboring counties. The objects were in sight for over two hours, at some points travelling at excessively high speeds, hovering, turning sharply in different directions and both climbing for altitude and diving rapidly toward the ground.

Within twenty minutes, patrolmen from the Ypsilanti Police Department and the Monroe County Sheriffs Office had also tracked and spotted the craft. Soon more of the craft were spotted. A call was made to Colonel Miller of the Civil Defense. He told them to keep an eye on the objects and to check with the Willow Run Airport. Within an hour of the first sighting, a call to the Selfridge Air Base confirmed they had some objects on radar over Lake Erie but were unable to get an identification on them.

Three days later, on March 17, Sgt. Nuel Schneider and Deputy David Fitzpatrick of the Milan. Michigan Police Department reported seeing two top-shaped objects in their airspace making radical movements and flying off at jet-like speeds. Three more days and the Dexter Police Department had to investigate a possible landing in a wooded area nearby. While two officers searched on the ground with civilian witnesses to see if they could locate the cause of the bright lights going on and off in the woods Officer Robert Hartwell had a glowing object buzz over his patrol car. The Chief of Police, Robert Taylor also spotted a red, pulsating object hovering over a local residence. He end managed to view the object through binoculars and stated it had lights on each end.

Despite the number of qualified and credible witnesses to these events, all within the space of a week, there was never any determination as to what could have been flying in such un-aircraft-like ways over Southeast Michigan. To this day no one knows, but they cannot claim the witnesses were drunken crackpots.

The most publicized account of human abduction by alien beings occurred on September 19, 1961 in New Hampshire. Betty and Barney Hill were returning home from vacation and travelling along US Route 3 towards Portsmouth when they first saw a bright light in the sky. Stopping the car for a closer look they tried to get a closer look through binoculars but had no success in determining what it was.

They continued their journey only to have the light begin to follow them. Almost to the town of Indian Head, the object swooped down and took up station about a hundred feet in front of their car. Barney stopped in the middle of the road and got out for a closer look with his binoculars. Observing several human-like beings staring back at him from the "windows" he hastily returned to his vehicle and sped away. The object followed, staying right over the car and making loud "clicking" sounds.

Arriving home about daylight, they realized the four-hour trip had taken them instead, seven hours. Three hours of their lives had gone missing. They showered, having a great urge to cleanse themselves for reasons they did not know. Over the next few weeks they both developed severe nightmares and became increasingly agitated for no good reason. They had reported the sighting but had been told they had merely misidentified Jupiter.

Others took their story more seriously. Over the next two years they were interviewed by various members of the National Investigations Committee On Aerial Phenomena. They concluded that some mental "block" was in place in the Hill's minds and suggested hypnosis to try and recover the memories. They enlisted Dr. Benjamin Simon, a skeptic, and he performed several sessions in the first half of 1964.

Under hypnosis a bizarre story emerged. Barney stated he was "compelled" to park in a secluded wooded area where they were taken aboard the now landed disk-shaped spacecraft by three alien beings with "very large eyes". Once onboard they were separated and subjected to invasive and humiliating physical examinations. Betty had asked the most sociable of her examiners where they were from and he showed her a "star map" he described as showing various trade and exploration routes. Under hypnosis, Betty redrew the map for the Doctor. Later examination of the map by astronomers placed a best guess as Zeta Reticula being the place the beings said was their origin place.

Finally returned to their vehicle, the Hills resumed their journey, mysteriously made to consciously forget their ordeal. Were it not for the ability of hypnosis to sometimes recover lost memory, we might never have learned of this frightening case of abduction.

Many people often ask that how does light travel in space without any medium. But answer is that, it doesn’t. The vacuum is the medium which permits light to travel in space. Now even the physicists also have given up the abstract idea of empty space, that is, space having no fields, whatsoever. They also have given up the conventional idea that the matter is substantially different from the fields. It is in fact, not. The math which is needed to describe the physical vacuum is exactly the same as what is needed to describe matter. Light travels faster in vacuum then in any other material.

Light is no different, it is just a property of vacuum. Just like sound is property of liquids, solids and gases. Another reasoning is that light is a type of electromagnetic radiation, which is amongst one of the four fundamental forces of nature and as such it do not require and any medium for propagation.

Light in fact has got nothing to do with space. In fact, it is the property of the electromagnetic field when it is undergoing some kind of change. This field radiates in space in all the directions from the point of origin. This field is invisible in nature and can only be felt by parties that carry some charge, whenever the field is changed. Like for example by sudden alteration of the position of the source, a kink develops in the field which propagates in the space with speed of light. Therefore, space simply acts as a passive container for the electro magnetic field, which in turn is the medium through which light propagates.

When there is no electromagnetic in space, the light will also not travel, as in the case of closed shield box. The light moves in a straight line only when it is not moving through anything at all, that is, vacuum. Whenever, the light travels through water, glass or anything else its behaviors changes. The direction of light in these cases basically changes due to two phenomenon, these are refraction and reflection. Reflection is when the light bounces off something whereas refraction is when the light one medium to another, both having different densities.

These two phenomenons’ either changes the direction of light or bend the light. Light only travels at constant speed, which we usually refer to as “speed of light”.

First of all let us find out who is a skeptic. A skeptic is a person who has dedicated himself or herself in exposing the flawed belief system of other people. Or perhaps believing in UFO’s or aliens etc. gives them a self of control or purpose that he would not otherwise have.

However one thing that you all will agree on is that it is very easy to shoot things then to build them up. And even the most hardcore skeptic will never ever make the transition from one to another. The skeptics always see themselves as rationales; there are always hidden personal reasons why they choose to spend their time and energy attacking the beliefs of others. Maybe, like a conspiracy theorist the skeptics too try to gain mastery over the world by exposing its hidden flaws.

At the end it is very important for every one of us to know that, a person maybe wrong, two persons may be wrong, three too can be wrong. But when you have got around million people saying the same thing, then there must be something. Its easier for skeptics to say that there is no solid proof, well when something is witnessed by millions of people worldwide , then it itself becomes a solid proof.

This alien abductions story is about one of the most famous alien abductees, Betty Hill. She was not the first person abducted by the aliens but was probably one of the best known. Her and her husband’s encounter with aliens in 1961 was told in the book “The Interrupted Journey”, which was later, made into a movie “The UFO Incident”.

In 1961, she along with her husband Barney Hill was traveling from Montreal to Portsmouth late night when she saw few bright lights in the sky. The lights went up being bigger and brighter until it was clearly visible as an oval shaped spacecraft. As the terrified occupants of the car, Betty Hill and her husband, attempted to flee down series of back roads, the spacecraft followed their car.

Then at one point the car engine got stalled. The craft landed close to their car and took Betty and Barney captives and led them onto the spacecraft. The aliens, as described by Betty, were bald, short and had big eyes, light gray skin and two small nostrils. On board both, Betty and her husband were separated from each other and were subjected to experimentation.

Betty then dared to talk to the “leader” who spoke a language which very much resembled broken form of English. She described the aliens as friendly. A needle was inserted in the navel of Betty and she gasped in pain and the leader soothed her by putting his hand over her forehead. Betty asked them, that from where they are from, they then showed Betty a star map that she later drew under hypnosis.

After the test’s they were returned to their car. Strangely, neither of them remembered what happened to them on that night, for many years. However few years later, Betty’s husband who had been having nightmares, developed a circular pattern of warts on his belly. Thinking this as stress-related a psychiatrist suggested Barney and Betty to undergo hypnosis. This is when this unusual story came out.

Betty’s story contains some interesting details. There are still many people who consider this story as fictitious and nothing else, but Betty Hill was confident of what she saw. She was a noble lady and well educated too, there is absolutely no reason why she will hoax this story. She even passed many lie detector tests’ conducted on her in this regard with full confidence. This is just one in many alien abductions stories.

One of the questions that endlessly fascinate people from all around the world is, Are we alone? Majority of the people dismiss aliens and UFO’s as a fictional, out of the world or sci-fi thing. But there are many evidences, in the form of videos ad photographs which are proofs of the existence of extraterrestrials. Here is the mention of some aliens on camera video evidences which prove the existence of life outside earth.

One man from Denver made a three minute video and clicked few images that show alien, peeping through a window. The grainy, black and white video shows a shadowy, small creature peeping over the window. Some people have already denounced this footage of alien as fake. Another video evidence came from Christine Dickey in 2008. She caught a UFO on camera during a lighting storm. She was at her home in Arizona, when a lighting storm occurred. She took out the camera and went out to take pictures of the storm. She saw that the lighting storm was massing on the horizon and heading her way. She clicked a picture of the storm, not knowing that she had captured a picture of UFO. But when saw the photograph she was shocked to see an UFO. After finding an UFO in the photo she knew it was important for all mankind to see. She then went to an archeologist, specializing in optical sciences, so as to get the photo enlarged using modern technology. This photo when enlarged proved to be one of the best proofs of alien’s existence till date.

Another well known and recent video evidence of aliens on camera and UFO’s occurred on the Barack Obama’s inaugural speech. Nobody in this world can questions the genuineness of this video as this was taken by CNN. This video was captured by a CNN camera and it showed a disc shaped object flying with incredible speed from right side of the screen towards left. This object becomes visible on 0:08 on the right side of the Washington Monument and moves quickly to the left side of the screen. The object was too fast to be a plane or helicopter and no way can it be a bird. It may have been a fighter jet but then there must be some noise coming out of the plane. The speed of this object was incredible and no way had it appeared to be an object from earth.

The appearance of hovering discs and fiery chariots found in the ufo ancient art as seen on some renaissance era paintings – as well as working their controls or attired in costumes that we today commonly recognize as spacesuits prove that UFO’s are not a new thing and that they were being sighted since the medieval times. No direct connection can be isolated from this, between religious icons and aliens but there definitely are a lot of supernatural phenomena associated in and around these depictions.

There are many common depictions or images showing a saucer shaped metallic air craft, with high beams, intelligently controlled and flying at incredible speeds, as if the artist’s saw these things first hand. It’s very hard to find mentions of these events, but the fact is that these exist.

One set of images from the late 8th century, depicts a battle in which Saxon Crusaders besieged and surrounded the residents of Sigiburg Castle in France, then suddenly a group of spaceships appeared in the sky, apparently hovering on top of the city’s church. The Saxon’s then fled, fearing their life from the “Flaming Shields”.

Another ufo ancient art painting from the year 1350 known as the “The Crucifixion" , presently in a museum in Yugoslavia shows picture of Jesus and on either sides of Jesus there are a pair of spacecrafts, one chasing the other. The leading spacecraft is decorated with two bright stars with one reminiscent of national insignia on modern aircraft. This painting point out to the possibility of UFO sightings in Yugoslavia in that year.

Another historical ufo ancient art painting pointing to UFO theory is from 15th century which shows Mary and on her left shoulder one can easily see a shining, or glowing disk shaped object, possibly an UFO. Another painting of the same era shows a dog and a man looking towards a floating object hovering in sky.

“The Annunciation” painted by Carlo Crivelli in 1486. This is one of the best proofs on UFO’s existence in ancient times. The painting shows a familiar saucer shaped object shining a beam of light through the house wall and down onto Mary’s head.

from Florence, Italy shows Mary and Jesus on non vaporous “lenticular clouds”, accompanied by a group of flying saucers stretching beyond the horizon.

Another ufo ancient art by Samuel Coccius depicts many flaming and “large black globes” that were reported to be seen over Basel, in Switzerland in the year 1556.

France recently became the first country to open its files on UFO’s. The national space agency of France unveiled a website documenting more than 1700 sightings spanning over five decades.

The online france ufo files archives available on the website will be updated as new cases are reported. These archives will consist of even the minutest detail of the cases. Popularly known as OVNIs in french, the UFO’s have always generated intense interest along with a large number of conspiracy theories about goverment and military cover ups of findings which are deemed too sensitive or alarming for public consumption.

There are many individual france ufo files cases, which can not be investigated due to lack of evidence or witneeses. But there are also a large number of cases involving multiple witnesses. There are cases of UFO sightings in France involving hundreds of witnesses and physical evidences such as burn marks, accelerations that defy the laws of physics or radar trackings showing flight patterns.

Of the 1700 france ufo files, cases registered since early 1950’s. 25 % of them are categorized into type “D” that means “despite good data and credible witnesses, we are confronted with something that we cannot explain”. Such incident occurred on 8 January 1981, outside a small town in southern France. A farmer working in the field saw a saucer shaped object about 2.5 meters in diameter and emitting whistling sound. The saucer then landed some 50 meters away from him. After a couple of minutes it again ascended and diappaeraed in sky. When the investigating team reached there, they found burn marks on the soil and suggested that an object weighing a nearly two hundred kilograms landed there. But they were unable to explain the incident.

Another popular UFO sighting in France, occurred on 5th November 1990. This sighting was witnessed by around 1000 people who said that they saw flashing bright lights in the sky on that day.

It is said that around 50-100 UFO sightings are reported each year, which is usally written up by the local police. However there are countries like like Britain and the US which collect data more or less systematically about unidentified flying objects. In United States, a person can access the UFO data under the Freedom of Information Act. However, France is the first country to make the UFO data public. The reason for making these france ufo files data public is to make it easier for scientists and other UFO buffs to access the data for research.

This strange event happened recently, on 16th February 2009 in Nequen, Argentina. Three unidentified flying objects or UFO’s as they are commonly referred to as, entered the atmosphere creating a dazzling flash in the sky and emitting very bright colors. According to witnesses, these UFO kept hovering in the sky for few minutes and were mainly seen in the Alto Valle to the Cordilleran Lake region. The Nequen Astronomical Observatory and the Bariloche Naval Prefecture confirmed that this strange event happened on Saturday i.e. 16th February night between 2300 hours to 2330 hours.

Mr. Roberto Figueroa who is the directory of the NAO told media persons that “I was inside the observatory having a chat with my colleagues and when I looked outside of the window I saw that the entire part of the west Nequen is illuminated by bright lights. We all saw three UFO’s entering our atmosphere at tremendous speeds which soon exploded creating bright flash lights and emitted some sort of colored smoke.”

He clarified that the objects were indeed UFO’s, measuring some 5 to 8 meter in diameter. These may be few of many that cross Earth’s path as collision point. These UFO’s heat up upon entering Earth and expand in such an unstable way that they finally dismantles and burns emitting bright lights and smoke.

The event was also witnessed by residents of Bariloche. They claimed that they saw UFO crashing in Lake Nahuel Huapi. The news channels also claimed that the Bariloche Naval Prefecture received many calls from the residents and tourists present at the lake who told they saw flashing lights near the lake. The Prefecture thought that maybe that was a flare and sent a vessel to search for it, however after extensive search nothing was found at or near the lake. The Prefecture later rubbished the UFO claim and told that it was a shooting star; however they said that they don’t have any proof to prove it.

A group of fishermen witnessed this event from a very close distance. According to them the flying object was a greenish blue is color and it appeared that it was made up of some metal.

This strange sighting occurred within few days of the first collisions in space due to heavy cosmic traffic. The collision was believed to be between two satellites, one American and the other Russian, which impacted some 800 km over Siberia.

The first sighting of the famous “Big Head Alien” was reported in Massachusetts, United States. Never before, is such a creature seen in Massachusetts. These sighting was reported for a couple of days. There are many theories related to this but the truth still remains the mystery. This event was witnessed by three teenagers. The description of the “Big Head Alien” given by these, except for the one detail didn’t vary. Many people thought that this was just a teenager prank and nothing else, however the experts in the paranormal quizzed and interviewed them extensively, they also quizzed people who knew them and came to the conclusion that those teens were credible.

Even today one of the witnesses, who is now a prominent artist, is still haunted by what he saw in the month of April 1977. This Big Head Alien was also given the name “Dover Demon” and was first seen in Dover, a small town in Boston.

The teenagers were in the car when one of them, Bill Bartlett, saw something creeping next to a stone wall on the side of the street. The strange creature turned his head and looked face to face to the car’s headlight. The teen saw two bright large, orange eyes the creature also had a very big head and skinny body. The height of the creature, as told by Bill, was around four feet and he was having extraordinary large feet and hands. Also there was no hair on the body of the creature. None of the other occupants in the car saw that creature. But Bill was pretty sure that the strange creature definitely was not from earth.

On the very same night, another teenager John Baxter was walking toward his home. He noticed a strange figure coming towards him He thought that it was a friend of his, so he called his name, but no answer came from that figure. As the creature came closer, he stopped. Baxter was terrified when he saw the creature. He left everything and ran towards his home. The description of the creature that was given by Baxter was same as that given by Bill.

The Big Head Alien was also witnessed by Will Taintor, aged 18 at that time, on the same evening. She was driving her car when suddenly a strange creature with big head jumped on the road from nowhere. Will stopped the car and came out to see what it was and see was shocked when she saw a small creature having bright orange lights and extra large hands and feet.

On May 19, 1967 mechanic and amateur geologist Stephen Mickalak had decided to travel to the Whiteshell Provincial Park. His objective was to follow out some of the quartz veins in the area in hopes of discovering some of the silver that resides in conjunction with the crystal. He spent the morning following a quartz vein along a brook near Falcon Lake, enjoying his hobby and the fine partly cloudy spring day.

Shortly after lunch Mr. Michalak heard a flock of geese passing overhead and stopped digging to watch them. Instead he saw the shocking sight of two glowing red, cigar-shaped objects descending through the clouds. Closer to the ground they took on a more disk-like shape. One of the craft stopped and hovered in the sky as the other descended and landed about 150 feet from the astonished witness. The other then began to ascend back through the clouds, changing color from red to orange then grey. The disk on the ground matched the changes.

Fortunately Mr. Mickalak was still wearing his protective goggles, as they seemed to protect his vision from some intensely bright purple light shining through openings in the craft. He sat for a half-hour watching the craft and sketched a picture in his notebook. Eventually what appeared to be a door opened in the side and he could see the brightly-lit interior. Curiosity overcame his fear and he approached the craft. At one point he heard "voices" inside and looking in saw several panels of colored lights blinking but no occupants.

Suddenly the door slammed shut and as he touched the surface of the craft was shocked to see his glove melting. A vent, approximately six inches across opened and began to vent heat directly onto Mr. Mickalak. His shirt caught fire and as he fell back in pain the craft launched itself back into the air. Now requiring medical attention he began the slow trek back to civilization. Along the way he suffered nausea and a severe headache.

Finally reaching a doctor, he was treated for his head and stomach problems and the pattern of sixteen grid-like burns on his chest. Debunkers tried to claim they came from a barbecue grill although no one could discover a model shaped like Mr. Mickalak's burn marks. He would ultimately see a half dozen doctors in both Canada and the United States before they healed.

Not only the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and the Canadian Air Force but also several civilian UFO groups and the American Condon Committee investigated the location of his sighting. There was never a conclusive explanation for what had burned him so severely and in such a distinctive manner.

In an attempt to fit various types of UFO/alien experiences into some categorized listing, the astronomer and ufologist J. Allen Hynek created a classification system. He first introduced this terminology to the world in his book, "The UFO Experience: A Scientific Inquiry" in 1972. His determination was that UFO/alien encounters could be broken down into three basic types.

It is accepted that a close encounter must occur within a 500 foot range to avoid the misidentification of conventional terrestrial aircraft or other natural phenomena. Beyond that range objects are considered to be either "nocturnal lights", "daylight disks", or " visual and radar reports".

According to Hynek's classification system a close encounter of the first kind is the near sighting (500 foot or less away) of an unidentified flying object, odd lights or an aerial object that is maneuvering or otherwise displaying characteristics that are not possible with terrestrial technology.

A close encounter of the second kind is the sighting of a UFO that leaves some physical trace of its presence. These can take the form of either measurable heat or radiation damage on the observer or damage to the immediate terrain and its flora and fauna. Incidences of human paralysis or inexplicable frightened or agitated animals as well as interference of radio and television reception fall into this category. The phenomena of "lost time" associated with a UFO sighting is also a second kind encounter.

Due to Steven Spielberg's famous movie, close encounters of the third kind are most well known. This encounter scenario is where the witness observes "animate beings" in associated with the sighted UFO. Hynek himself did not wish to use the term "alien" as there was no was to rule out the possibility that the beings seen were actually humans as opposed to automatically assuming they were of extraterrestrial origin.

Others have added extra classifications to this list although not all ufologists universally accept them. Ted Bloecher added seven more potential categories although they are mostly subsets of the major classifications and three do not particularly pertain to UFO's or aliens at all. Of the most accepted of these additional classifications is added the close encounters of the fourth kind. In the fourth close encounter category is the actual abduction of a human by alien beings.

The close encounters of the fifth kind classification was proposed by Steven M. Greer, the founder of the Center for the Study of Extraterrestrial Intelligence. These encounters are one's mutually arrived at with a conscious and deliberate purpose by both the humans and the aliens for the purposes of communication. These "contactee" encounters were considered to have begun sometime in the 1950's and supposedly continue, along with the less planned encounters, to this day.

The concept of linear subspace or vector subspace as it is sometimes called is very important in linear algebra and various other fields of physics and math. There is no denying to the fact that UFO’s have been showing up all round the planet from time to time. Some of the latest UFO sightings in the year 2009 took place in United States and Europe. Many people, skeptics and believers now believe that this is a sign of imminent contact about the life forms present outside our planet.

Among the recent UFO sightings reported, is the “mysterious craft” which was spotted in the skies of small town in Czech Republic, the event took place on 14th February 2009. In this sighting, the witnesses saw three star shaped blinking lights which appeared and disappeared constantly. Many witnesses say that all the lights of the streets as well as porches went off when the lights from the UFO were blinking. The witnesses thought that it is just a thunderstorm, but when they saw no rain, no sound and no signs of cloud they then soon became aware that it is indeed an UFO.

Another recent UFO sighting was reported on 28th February 2009 in Kentucky. According to the witnesses they saw a disc like flying saucer fling over the horizon. The UFO was flying at a very low altitude and looked like as if it was grazing over the rooftops. Due to heavy rains on that day, only few people were able to witness the event. According to them UFO looked like a giant Frisbee in the sky.

In the Star Trek fictional universe, sub space is a feature of space- time which facilitates faster than light transit in the form of transmission of information or interstellar travel. The Star Trek Subspace follows different laws of physics. Subspace has also been adopted and used in various series and video games like The Descent, Stargate Atlantis, Halo and Freespace.

In majority of the Star Trek series subspace is mainly used for establishing contacts with the people and places which are light years away. The physics of the Star Trek Subspace is described as infinite speed which is expressed as Warp 10, as an impossible thing, as such even the subspace communications which supposedly travel at speeds over 9.9 Warp may take weeks to reach a desired destination and are confined to region of space which was mapped previously for subspace channels. However, once the connection is established then the communications between the two points become instantaneous.

Subspace is basically a substrate within which our universe exists. A subspace filed may either be a natural or forced intrusion of this domain into our space, thus altering the behaviors of things which are in our time frame.

There are many things which support this. In “Schisms” different creatures exist in within a tertiary subspace manifold. A manifold is a term which is used to describe the form our universe takes when it is viewed from a theoretical direction, that is, a higher direction. This is also sometimes called as the “deeper level of subspace”.

Whenever our space time frame is distorted a large amount of energy is released. You can call subspace as a medium in which our space- time frame exists. The parts which are nearest are coupled tightly to our own universe. And can be thought of as being mapped to our own space-time.

Subspace is not a ‘place’ or an alternate reality or space-time frame where things go. Subspace is also not entered by a starship at warp. A ship only creates a subspace which acts like another universe very tightly coupled to our own.

Subspaces do not really need to follow the rules of relativity. These might have unique reference frame, and everything which is enclosed in a subspace field has the reference frame of the subspace.

The weakest sub space fields are just like traditional fields, like magnetic fields. They consist of associated particles, can be used for transmission, can be bound to objects etc.

Since the first manned flight by the Soviet Union, astronauts of around 38 countries have flown in space. The below Space Travel Timeline shows some of the most notable achievements and first accomplishment’s in mankind’s physical exploration of the space.

4th October 1957 was a big day in space exploration. Sputnik-I became the first man made object to orbit earth Sputnik was launched by U.S.S.R and remained in orbit until 4th January 1958.

On 3rd November 1958, Sputnik-II was launched by U.S.S.R. it carried a dog named Laika. It remained in orbit until 13th April 1958.

On 31st January 1958, Explorer-I became the first American satellite to orbit earth. Explorer –II was launched on 5th March in the same year, but it failed to reach the orbit.

Sputnik-III was launched by U.S.S.R on 15th May 1958. On 1st October of the same year the world renowned organization NASA was found in U.S.A.

On 2nd January 1959, Luna-I became the first man made satellite to orbit sun. It was launched by U.S.S.R.

On 1st April 1960, Tiros-1 was launched. It became the first weather satellite to orbit earth and was launched by U.S.A

Discoverer XIV was the first American satellite which was launched on August 18, 1960.

12th April 1961 is again one of the biggest and most noted day in the history if space exploration. On this day Vostok-I was launched by U.S.S.R, carrying cosmonaut Yuri. A. Gagarin. Also on 5th may in the same year U.S launched Mercury Freedom 7 carrying American astronaut Alan B. Shepard Jr. and he became the first American astronaut to go in space.

On 10th July 1962, a U.S satellite naming Telstra-I became the first live transatlantic telecast.

On December 14, 1962 U.S Mariner 2 became the first successful planetary spacecraft to fly past Venus and enter sun’s orbit.

On 16th June 1963, Vostok 6 was launched by the soviet and it carried cosmonaut Valentia Tereshkova, which became the first women to travel in space.

First close range photographs of moon were obtained from U.S Ranger 7, which was launched on 31st July 1964.

On 3rd February 1966, Soviet Union’s Luna 9 became the first spacecraft to soft land on moon. On 2nd June in the same year Surveyor I became the first U.S space craft to soft land on moon.

Soviet Zond 5 was launched on 15th September 1968 and it became the first aircraft to orbit the moon and return.

ON 20th July 1969 Neil Armstrong and Edwin Aldrin made the first manned soft landing on moon.

While the subject of UFO's is very popular in the United States, it is in fact a worldwide phenomenon. Many times those who insist on debunking any reported sighting of an unidentifiable aircraft will pour over any photographs or video, constantly on the lookout for trace evidence of wires or out-of-place shadows that can be used to show a photograph as being faked.

Regrettably, when all else fails to show the reality of an object, these skeptics and debunkers will fall back to attempts at destroying the credibility of the witnesses. They put forth the theory that only professionals like policemen, pilots, or military officers are capable of credibly reporting a UFO sighting. So it was with utter disgust that they could not whisper a word of calumny against the forty-seven member crew of the Brazilian Navy's "Almirante Saldanha" when they reported a UFO sighting off the island of Trindade.

During 1957 the Brazilian Navy had set up a weather station on this small, rocky island in the South Atlantic. By January of 1958 there had been many reports by observers of unusual and very fast-moving aircraft over the island. These reports took on a much more meaningful turn on January 16th of that year. On board the "Almirante Saldanha" was the civilian photographer Almiro Barauna. During the time the unidentifiable was seen by the crew, he managed to snap six pictures of the object.

The craft was saucer shaped, looking much like what you would get if the planet Saturn could be squashed down to an oval egg shape. There was a distinctive equatorial "ring" around the craft. The photographs show a distinct rounded solid body to the craft that tapered toward the edges and was round when viewed from below. Barauna turned the negatives over to the Brazilian Naval Ministry which carefully studied them and declared that they showed an unknown object about 50 foot across. Time indicators and triangulation formula were used to extract the estimate that the object was travelling at about 600 miles per hour.

Second-guessing the photographs and witnesses, the Harvard University astronomy professor, Donald Menzel, put forth that it was merely an airplane flying through fog. More intense study in 1978 by an independent film laboratory using the most current digital analysis ruled out any possible evidence of tampering. The debunkers were once more shown to be inventing their information while the sightings by an entire navy crew continues to be continue to be beyond earthly explanation.

The political situation between the United States and Iran had become a crisis in the late 1970's as the Islamic fundamentalists overthrew the country's Shah who had been a good friend to US interests. With a 180-degree turnabout in diplomatic relations between the two nations, it was feared that war could break out at any moment. The United States began constant routine surveillance of the airspace over Iran while the Iranian military kept watch on the sky against possible foreign attack.

In June of 1978, a student, Jamshid Saiadipour, then 16 years of age, had been studying for an exam when he was distracted by the vision of an unidentifiable aircraft he saw from his family's apartment where they lived in the city of Sheraz. While they did not come to light until three years later, the Iranian youth, Franklin Youri, also spotted and photographed a similar looking craft on October 8 of 1978 near the western Iranian Lake Urmia.

Some years later a "Freedom of Information" lawsuit against our federal government exposed the extreme interest being taken in these photographs shot by two young men in what was in all but fact a hostile country. Ufologists have long claimed that Iran is a "hotbed" of UFO sightings. The interest in this case became critical on September 19, 1978 when two American-made F-4 fighters of the Iranian Air Force encountered, once again, a craft of the type photographed by the two boys. They attempted to fire upon the unknown craft but reported that the missile fire-control systems kept malfunctioning.

There has been made the suggestion that the reason the Joint Chiefs-of-Staff were so interested in the photographs and reports of this particular type of craft is due to its uncanny resemblance to the front profile of their, then still secret, stealth bombers and fighters. It is thought they were desperately searching to know if the same technology had been created by another country. That the unknown craft seen and photographed in Iran was either white or of a metallic silver contrasts with the usual matte black we paint our stealth aircraft only increased the position that it was a never before seen type of vehicle.

Ufologists demand more investigation into these sightings although it is a very cold trail that leads back to the photos. Every nation involved knew it was not one of theirs nor who it could have been that sent it over Iranian airspace at least three times. To this day, the strange craft is listed among the top unknowns in the history of watching what flies in our skies.

While there are many organizations dedicated to studying the UFO/Alien phenomena, there has, despite the thousands of reports, been very little "official" investigation. The only branch of the government that seems to have even tried was the United States Air Force. Their first attempt, Project Sign, in 1948 ended rather inconclusively. They determined that the craft witnessed were of neither Russian or US make and were quite likely of extraterrestrial origin then left it at that. It was quickly followed by Project Grudge, a dedicated attempt at debunking any reported UFO or alien sighting or encounter despite nearly a quarter of their investigations remained "unexplainable".

This blatant attempt at ignoring what could potentially be a serious problem angered General Charles Cabell. In 1952 he ended Project Grudge and enlisted the aid of fellow Air Force General William Garland to form a new, serious study. They named this mission Project Blue Book. Under the direct supervision of Captain Edward Ruppelt, Project Blue Book was revamped. A new method was initiated which attempted to cover as much data as could be thought of during interviews and site investigations. During this time a remarkable amount of transparency seemed to be forthcoming and press conferences to announce findings became routine.

To avoid some of the division of opinion and reduce the stigmata of reporting, Capt Ruppelt insisted that anyone on the Project maintain an open mind about the situation. Any operative who became openly skeptical or tried to fit facts into a specific theory soon found themselves transferred out of Project Blue Book. During the investigations held at this time, scientists and astronomers were often called on to help advise the investigators. During this time many of the more famous and well-known sightings occurred and were given serious attention. Even the head scientific consultant for the Project, Astronomer Dr. J. Allen Hynek, lost his skepticism after enough "unexplainable" sightings were logged with the Project.

This high-minded attempt at seeking the truth of the UFO phenomena lived a very short life. Capt. Ruppelt was temporarily removed from Project Blue Book. On his return a few months later he discovered that his staff had been reduced by 90%. All he had left for covering the entire country were two subordinate investigators. In frustration he suggested they turn the investigations over to the Air Defense Command as he no longer had a Project capable of functioning in any useful capacity. By March of 1954 Project Blue Book was being led by Captain Charles Hardin, a man who thought that anyone who supposedly saw a UFO was insane and needed medical treatment. The "Dark Ages" of UFO investigation had begun. By 1969 Project Blue Book was dead. The military's take on all this data, that there was no threat to national security from these supposed objects.

Twentieth century archaeology uncovered a literary gold mine from the past when they excavated the massive library of clay tablets stored in the area that was once known as Sumeria in our current Middle East. Thousands of records written in cuneiform, possibly the first written human language, divulged a great storehouse of information, including much that on first look conflicted greatly with our understanding of our planet's past and our rise to dominance of the planet.

These records describe to gravitational capture of a rogue planet that had been traveling the depths of interstellar space for unknown eons. This planet, called Nibiru, turned out to be much more than a mere wayward rock. According to the Sumerian texts, this planet was inhabited by a race of virtually immortal beings that the Sumerians considered to be their gods. This intrusion was so far back in our solar system's history that planet Earth was said to be formed from the collision of two planetary bodies being knocked together by the gravitational disruption Nibiru caused by passing within the inner part of the system.

Whether due to the long voyage between the stars or because of damage to Nibiru during it's gravitational capture, its inhabitants needed the raw materials to fix the damage and maintain the internal heat of this "radiant" planet. As time passed they colonized the earth and began mining operations. While they took many materials, it was gold they most fervently sought for its electrical properties to heal the wounds in Nibiru's atmosphere.

Using the astronomical data about Nibiru that was presented in the Sumerian texts, astronomers used the "Infrared Astronomical Satellite" to scan the far reaches of our system to see if they could locate what was causing the wobble in the orbits of the outer planets. In the 1983-84 observations from this satellite’s data was discovered a planetary body immersed in to Oort cloud of debris on the edges of our star system. This planetary body fit the descriptions of a retrograde orbit that did not lie along the plane of the elliptic and was roughly where projected orbital calculations would put Nibiru at this time in history. While this discovery made news at first, it quickly became a buried subject that no one seemed to want to discuss.

Had they realized they had discovered the home planet of the ancient aliens that walked our Earth long before we even existed?

The great treasure trove of cuneiform inscribed clay tablets from the excavations in Sumeria gave a vastly different view of the creation of humanity than is accepted by the evolutionary theory. According to the translations of these ancient texts that described the Sumerian world and their interactions with the Annunaki, it is put forth that we were in fact genetically manipulated beings created by their scientists.

The Sumerian histories state that at some time after the Annunaki had established mining colonies around the globe that there was a rebellion among the worker class that toiled in the mines. It is reported that there were always never more than six hundred of them planet-side at any given time so the great labors of mining would have to have been tremendous. The workers refused to go back into the gold mines without help.

Another of the amazing discoveries in the ancient Sumerian texts is that they had a knowledge of the blueprint of life, the DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid) molecule that resides in the nucleus of every cell of every living creature's body. It is speculated that the caduceus, that ancient symbol of medicine is in fact a representation of the twisted protein molecule that makes everything what it is.

Using an indigenous primate, the Annunaki doctors created a hybrid species as a slave race to ease the labors of their own kind in the hard work in the mines. At first the new species was unable to breed itself and had to be incubated in the host womb of an Annunaki female. This too became burdensome to these ancient creatures and, since humans proved very flexible in the work they performed, eventually added the ability to breed independently to their creation so they would have a greater population of quite useful servants.

The Annunaki, however, seemed to have done too good a job with their crossbreeding program. Harkening to the old Hebrew allegation that the sons of the gods took the daughters of man to wife and fathered children upon them does more than just explain the legends of the Nefelum. Only the same or a very closely related species can breed with itself and this showed that rather than a subspecies, the Annunaki had recreated themselves in their human slaves.

With the fecundity of humans outstripping the expectations of their seldom-reproducing selves, soon there were so many that it was not too difficult for many to escape into the wilds. It goes a long way towards also explaining the rapid ascent of Cro-Magnon man across the planet with no continuous evolutionary link to connect him with the earlier Neanderthals.

It is for sure that as of know, the UFO theory will keep us engaged for a good period of time. They exist or they don’t. This question is not as simple as it seems. With people’s view differing all around the world, the scientists are still looking for some solid or hard proof.

As far as UFO legend and myth stories go, here is one of the most intriguing stories that come from a daughter of a well known minister in the United States. This story was shared by Lucile Andrew, daughter of Hamilton Holt.

Before sharing this so called “secret” she said “today I want to share an experience that has been by, by request kept secret in our family since 1939, during Second World War. This concerns something my father was shown by Cordell Hull, his cousin and also the Secretary of the State under the president Franklin Roosevelt”.

Lucie told that during that year her father went to Washington and was with Cordell. Their Cordell took Hull to the U.S Capitol and asked Hull to accompany him in a secret room. According to Holt, this room was in the basement of U.S Capitol. Holt was shocked what he saw their, he saw four large jars, each with an alien creature persevered within. He also saw a flying saucer in the room not kept far away from the jars.

According to Lucie, she and her two sisters were all made aware of this event. They were instructed not to leak this information until Cordell and Holt are dead. The sisters still believe that the U.S government still has possession of those UFO’s and alien bodies and they are kept at some secret locations.

Hull was a very well known statesmen have no reason to hoax such an event.

Lucile were very young at that time, to understand what her father was trying to say, but her elder sister still recalls that her father described the entities in the glass jars as some creatures who in no way looked like human beings.

The sisters also recall that their father went to the secret room in 1939 and saw an UFO; he naturally assumed that the four creatures arrived in that UFO. He described the UFO as, broken into pieces and was of silver metallic color. It was nothing he had ever seen before.

However contradictory to all these, curator of the U.S capitol denies existence of any kind of basement in the building. However she still recalls that during that time there was a basement divided into storage rooms.

The Cordell-Holt story, though enticing, will exist within the realm of folklore.

Here is another tale of an alien encounter that happened last year in Japan. The event again was witnessed by a large number of people, followed by a state of denial by the government and the hushing up of the UFO reports.

Sketchy details are emerging of an unexplained sky event that happened in Japan in city of Tokushima situated on Shikoku Island in southern part of Japan.

Many residents of the city saw a small unidentified object or UFO, on evening of 16th July 2008. They saw the UFO losing control and hurtling to earth. On colliding with earth, a loud explosion and brilliant lights were seen coming out from that area.

There were many people and pilots flying the airplanes that witnessed this event and confirmed that an UFO descended towards the ground.

Some witnesses standing on a bridge also alleged that the UFO missed the bridge by some inches prior to its crash in the nearby area. The Japanese Defense Ministry held a press conference soon after the alleged crash of the UFO and told the reporters that they could not identify the aircraft.

Soon after the crash happened the entire crash site was full of people and ground crew.

The locals also saw military planes hovering very low in the air, around the crash site. The area where the UFO hit the ground was cordoned off and sealed, with nobody being allowed to come near. After initial media reports and the panic that created among locals the local media hushed up the UFO reports and blacked them out. Obliviously the story still remains clouded.

The Japanese UFO buffs are sure that the alien and the UFO were secretly cratered away from the crash site and are being kept at some secret location. They are also giving numerous reports and evidences including the power failure that happened during the time of the crash etc. as reasons to prove this.

The question will surely be asked for long period of time that “Did a UFO crashed in Japan last year or was it just another case of media speculations”.

This event is just like any other UFO event. Same stories of UFO sightings, UFO crashing and the government cover up. There is simply no end to these. Sometime we wonder whether at all we will be able to uncover the truth behind such sightings and alien encounters or will these reports continue to haunt us for many coming years.
